After three years of retrofitting CNC CRT displays with LCDs, here is the complete guide. CRT displays were discontinued 15 years ago. Repairs use donor parts just as old and fail again in months. LCD upgrade costs 150 to 300 dollars once and lasts 5 to 7 years. FANUC uses Honda MR-20M DC24V. Mitsubishi uses 20-pin DC24V. Mazak uses 26-pin DC24V. Siemens SINUMERIK uses AC110V DB-25 which is different. Installation takes 10 minutes: power off remove 4 screws unplug CRT connect LCD mount power on. No parameter changes needed. Full reference at cncdisplay.com.
