Hello, DEV — we’re building at Plain

We’re launching a technical blog at Plain to share the engineering behind making business insurance clearer and less of a chore.

Expect practical posts about software, automation, integrations, architecture, and the lessons that come from building real products. We’ll focus on the details and trade-offs—not just the happy path.

I’m Peter Obel. I like figuring out how things work and making recurring problems go away. Recently, I reverse-engineered a discontinued Bluetooth microphone and built an open-source recording app for it. At Plain, I get to bring that same curiosity to a different set of problems.

Glad to be here.
