Disclosure first: I built one of the extensions below, PinRank. I've tried to compare it fairly with the others, including where they do more than mine. There are no affiliate links in this post.

Pinterest shows you a pin's image and title, but not how many times it has been saved. If you create pins for a blog, an Etsy shop or clients, that number is the quickest way to see what is actually working for a keyword. A handful of free Chrome extensions put it back on the page.

The numbers below come from each extension's Chrome Web Store listing and, where there is one, the developer's own site. I checked them on November 5, 2026. Store numbers change, so check the listing before you install.

 The quick comparison

Pinterest Pin Stats – Sort Pins

No

Stats, engagement rate, dashboard table, CSV export

None listed

Pinzly

49

5.0 (1)

—

Stats, sorting, downloads, profile insights

Has in-app purchases

PinRank (mine)

22

No ratings yet

No

Saves in search, words the top pins use, CSV copy, pin SEO score

None

 1. Pinterest Pin Stats – Sort Pins

The most-used option by a wide margin. It shows saves, likes, shares, comments and the creation date on pins in your home feed, in search, on idea pages and on pin pages. It can sort and filter what is on screen, and an "Open Pin Stats Table" button puts everything into a sortable table.

Best for: sorting any Pinterest page by engagement, without an account.

 2. PinRadar

The most feature-packed. The free tier (with a free account) adds a 0–100 "viral score", pin age, a keyword search-volume overlay and a switch to hide sponsored and AI-generated pins. CSV export, a "board spy", bulk downloads and feed sorting are in the paid plan.

Best for: people who want search volume and a viral score on the page and don't mind creating an account. If CSV export matters to you, budget for the paid plan.

 3. PinMetrics

Shows saves, comments, shares, reactions, the board and the creation date, and works out an engagement rate per pin. Its analytics dashboard collects pins into one table with filters such as "high saves" and "recent pins", and it exports to CSV.

Best for: engagement-rate tables you can export.

 4. Pinzly

A newer tool that combines hidden metrics and sorting with one-click image and video downloads, trend badges and stats for public profiles. It lists in-app purchases, so some features may be paid.

Best for: people who want downloads and profile stats in the same extension.

 5. PinRank (mine)

PinRank is built for the moment just before you write a pin. Run a Pinterest search and it adds:

the saves on every pin in the results, with the top 3 highlighted

the most saves and the median saves among the top 20

how many of the top 10 pins are under three months old, which gives you a rough idea of whether a new pin can get in

the words and two-word phrases the most-saved pins use, which you can click to copy into your own title and description

the top 10 pins by saves, with a free CSV copy

When you are creating a pin, a separate panel scores your title and description from 0 to 100.

Where it's weaker: it doesn't show search volume. Its keyword ideas come from modifier patterns, not volume data. The search panel works on search pages, not your home feed, and it has no sorting for whole boards. The interface is English only.

Best for: turning "what is ranking for this keyword?" into the words you put in your next pin, for free.

How these extensions get the numbers (for the developers here)

When you load a Pinterest page, Pinterest has already sent the browser a JSON description of each pin, including aggregate stats like the save count. The "load more" results arrive the same way as you scroll. A stats extension reads that data from the page and draws it next to the pin.

PinRank does this with a content script in the page's own world. It watches the search responses the page already receives and passes a few fields per pin (id, saves, date, title and description) to the script that draws the panel. It makes no requests of its own and sends nothing off the device.

Two caveats apply to every tool on this list:

Results are personalized. Pinterest shows different people different pins for the same search, so your top 10 may not match someone else's.

Saves aren't clicks. A pin can be saved a lot and still send little traffic. Use saves to see what people respond to, then check your own Pinterest analytics for outbound clicks.

 Which one should you install?

Sort any Pinterest page by engagement, no account: Pinterest Pin Stats.

Search volume and a viral score on the page: PinRadar, and plan for the paid tier if you need CSV.

Engagement-rate tables with CSV export: PinMetrics.

Downloads and profile stats in one tool: Pinzly.

Know which words to use before you write the pin: PinRank.

If you use one I missed, tell me in the comments and I'll add it.
