      <title>Testing Automatio’s New AI Features on Voting Polls</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;We’ve been upgrading &lt;a href="https://automatio.ai" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;Automatio&lt;/a&gt; with a new &lt;strong&gt;AI-driven automation layer&lt;/strong&gt;, and online polls became one of the first testing playgrounds. Poll interfaces are a clean way to evaluate how well an AI agent handles dynamic UIs. Voting flows require element detection, consistent interaction, session control and repeatability, which reveals very quickly how stable the agent is inside the browser.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A lot of people have been using Automatio for voting for years. School competitions, team challenges, community polls, it’s one of the most common things people automate. So when we started working on the new AI feature, testing it on real voting workflows was the obvious choice.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Automatio now includes an &lt;strong&gt;AI-powered way to automate poll voting&lt;/strong&gt;, and it’s much easier than setting up a traditional bot. Instead of building actions step by step, you just talk to it like you would talk to ChatGPT. You tell it what you want, and it takes care of the whole process.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For example, you can say something like: “Go to this poll and vote for option three fifty times.” If it needs anything else, it asks you. You give it the link or the exact option, and it runs the workflow on its own.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The old builder is still available and people rely on it, but the new AI version speeds things up in a way that’s hard to ignore. It’s clean, simple and easy to control, and users picked it up immediately.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Polls turned out to be a great stress test because people use them in all kinds of real scenarios. School competitions, team challenges, and small community events all come with tight timing and high expectations.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;What made this upgrade interesting was how fast everything moved. Someone would show up with a poll site we didn’t support yet, and we’d jump straight into fixing and updating it. If a bug popped up, we pushed a fix right away. It became this constant loop of new cases, quick improvements and immediate results. And honestly, it was fun watching people use it in real time. You’d see the poll numbers go up and know the updates we just made were giving them a real shot at winning.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Voting was just the first use case that made everything click. The next phase will cover much more than polls, and that’s where things get really interesting.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Building a Small AI Tool for Twitter</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Lately, my team has been experimenting a lot with different AI tools, things like V0, Claude, rapid prototyping setups, and all these new playgrounds that make it fun to test and build ideas quickly. We work with automation every day, so it’s normal that we spin up random concepts, test them, break them, fix them, and sometimes they grow into something worth sharing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;One thing we noticed recently was Twitter follower quality. The follower number looks big, but the engagement doesn’t match it. And honestly, Twitter in 2025 is full of inactive profiles, bots, random spam accounts, and old-niche leftovers that still follow you even though they aren’t relevant anymore.&lt;br&gt;
It’s normal, but it affects how your content performs, and cleaning it manually takes forever.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So we decided to experiment a bit:&lt;br&gt;
&lt;em&gt;Can AI help detect low-quality followers and make cleanup easier?&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That experiment turned into a tool we’re currently shaping and improving. It analyzes followers with an AI-driven scoring system, detects suspicious or inactive accounts, and lets you clean your audience in a much simpler, more direct way.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Let’s dig into how these simulators are built, what makes them tick, and then see how they’re used across different fields: dev, design, med school, job prep, etc.&lt;/p&gt;

  The Engine Under the Hood
&lt;/h2&gt;

&lt;p&gt;These tools combine several AI and system components. Understanding them gives you insight as a dev and maybe inspiration to build one someday.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1. Large Language Models (LLMs) for Dynamic Q&amp;amp;A&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
The heart of the simulator is usually an LLM, for example GPT, Claude, or custom fine-tuned models. The LLM handles question generation, follow-up prompts, branching based on responses. It allows the interview to feel alive, adapting as you answer.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="https://arxiv.org/html/2506.16542v1" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;Researchers testing&lt;/a&gt; a multimodal AI mock interview system found that participants viewed it as realistic and helpful, especially for articulating their problem-solving steps.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2. Natural Language Understanding &amp;amp; Analysis&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Once you speak or type your answer, the system uses NLP to parse it. It detects filler words, checks sentence structure, clarity, logical flow, sentiment, and so on. Some models are even evaluated on how well they score your response compared to human benchmarks.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A &lt;a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2504.05683" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;recent study&lt;/a&gt; compared pre-trained LLMs (GPT-4 Turbo, GPT-3.5, etc.) on HR interview transcript scoring, and found they approach expert human evaluators, though they sometimes miss fine-grained improvement suggestions. &lt;/p&gt;

If the simulator is voice-based, speech recognition turns your spoken answers into text. This text is fed to the NLP/LLM layers for analysis. Some systems even combine real-time voice feedback with transcripts.&lt;/p&gt;

For example: they store your previous answers, resume/job description context, and adapt subsequent questions accordingly. Some simulators can even mirror a company’s style or interview structure based on job description.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;6. Multimodal &amp;amp; UX / Simulation Interfaces&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Some platforms layer on UI, timing constraints, video, role-playing “interviewer personas,” or even virtual avatars. The idea is to recreate the &lt;a href="https://www.ijnrd.org/papers/IJNRD2502318.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;interpersonal pressure&lt;/a&gt;, body language cues, pacing, and environment you’ll face in real interviews.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Here’s a simplified flow of how a dev-focused AI mock interview might run:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;The system uses that to seed context (skills, expected topics).&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The examples I’m sharing below are just starting points to give you an idea of how SOTA models can fit into your web development workflow. They’re simple directions to help you get started, but if you really want to get the most out of these tools, I’d suggest exploring more advanced use cases on your own.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;1. OpenAI's GPT-3.5 &amp;amp; GPT-4&lt;/strong&gt; (Think of it as a Quick Code Helper):&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you need to create the basic structure for a website contact form, instead of writing all the HTML for the labels, input fields (like name, email, message), and the submit button from scratch, you can tell &lt;a href="https://openai.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;GPT-3.5 or GPT-4&lt;/a&gt; something like: "Create the HTML for a simple contact form with fields for name, email, and a text area for the message, include labels for each, and a submit button." It can then generate that basic HTML structure for you in seconds, saving you the initial typing. Similarly, if you encounter a JavaScript error in your browser's console, instead of spending a lot of time trying to figure out the cause, you can paste the error message and the line of code where it occurred into the AI and ask, "What does this JavaScript error mean and what could be causing it?" It might give you a few common reasons and suggest things to check in your code.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;2. Anthropic's Claude&lt;/strong&gt; (For Understanding and Explaining Code):&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Imagine you've inherited a project with a complex JavaScript function that handles user authentication, and it's not well-documented. Instead of spending hours tracing through the code, you could give &lt;a href="https://claude.ai/" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;Claude&lt;/a&gt; the entire function and ask, "Explain what this JavaScript function does in simple terms." Claude can then break down the logic step by step, explaining the different parts of the authentication process. Another example: if you need to explain to a client how the website's new image optimization feature works, you could provide Claude with the technical details and ask it to "Explain this image optimization process in a few short sentences that a non-technical person can understand."&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3. Google DeepMind's AlphaDev&lt;/strong&gt; (Behind the Scenes Performance):&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You don't directly use &lt;a href="https://deepmind.google/discover/blog/alphadev-discovers-faster-sorting-algorithms/" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;AlphaDev&lt;/a&gt;, but think of it this way: when the JavaScript engine in your browser or the Node.js runtime you use on the backend gets updated, it might include more efficient ways of sorting lists or handling data structures – improvements that could have originated from research like AlphaDev's. So, by simply keeping your browser updated or using the latest stable version of Node.js, your web applications can benefit from these under-the-hood performance enhancements without you needing to write any different code.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;4. Open-source Models like AutoGPT&lt;/strong&gt; (Your Automation Assistant):&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Let's say you're starting a new React project and need to look up the best practices for folder structure and component organization in 2025. You could instruct &lt;a href="https://agpt.co/" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;AutoGPT&lt;/a&gt; with a goal like: "Research the recommended folder structure and component organization patterns for a medium-sized React application in 2025. Provide a summary of the top 3 approaches and links to relevant articles." AutoGPT would then autonomously browse the web, gather information, and present you with a summary, saving you the time of manually searching and compiling this information yourself.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5. Google's Gemini Models&lt;/strong&gt; (Especially 2.5 Flash) (For Tough Problems):&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Suppose you're experiencing significant performance issues on a complex single-page application built with a modern framework like Vue.js, and you're not sure where the bottleneck is. You could provide &lt;a href="https://gemini.google.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;Gemini&lt;/a&gt; with performance profiling data (like output from your browser's developer tools) and relevant sections of your Vue.js component code, then ask, "Based on this performance data and component logic, what are the most likely causes of the performance issues and what are some potential optimization strategies I could try in Vue.js?" Gemini's advanced reasoning could help you pinpoint areas in your code or architecture that need attention and suggest specific ways to improve performance.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Growth.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;From a client’s perspective, they’re not just investing in a site, they’re investing in visibility. They want that &lt;strong&gt;site to show up&lt;/strong&gt;, get found, and support their business. And for that to happen, the website needs a proper SEO foundation from day one.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That part? A lot of it is still in our hands.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So what exactly should we still pay attention to in 2025 when it comes to on-site SEO?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Proper HTML Structure&lt;/strong&gt;: Use one &lt;code&gt;&amp;lt;h1&amp;gt;&lt;/code&gt; tag per page for the main title, and organize other sections with &lt;code&gt;&amp;lt;h2&amp;gt;&lt;/code&gt;, &lt;code&gt;&amp;lt;h3&amp;gt;&lt;/code&gt;, etc. This improves content clarity for users and helps search engines understand your page structure.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Fast Load Times&lt;/strong&gt;: Speed really matters. Slow sites lead to higher bounce rates. Compress images, reduce unnecessary scripts, and use browser caching to improve performance. Tools like &lt;a href="https://pagespeed.web.dev/" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;PageSpeed Insights&lt;/a&gt; can give you a clear list of issues and suggestions to fix them.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Mobile-first design&lt;/strong&gt;: Because most people (over 62%) now go online using their phones, building websites with phones in mind is the normal way to do it. Google has also changed how they rank websites, now paying closest attention to the phone version. That means we should focus on making websites look clean, load quickly, and be easy to use with your fingers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Crawlability&lt;/strong&gt;: Make sure that search engine bots can crawl the site. Proper use of the robots.txt file, a well-structured sitemap, and fixing broken links result in better indexing and visibility in search results.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Structured Data (Schema Markup)&lt;/strong&gt;: Adding structured data helps search engines understand the content and context of your pages, enabling rich snippets in search results. For example, marking up product pages with schema can display price, availability, and reviews directly in search listings (&lt;a href="https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/intro-structured-data?utm_source=chatgpt.com" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;Google for Developers&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Meta Titles and Descriptions&lt;/strong&gt;: Make sure every page has a unique and relevant meta title and meta description. These show up in search results and influence rankings and click-through rates. Don’t leave them blank or duplicated.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Voice Search Readiness&lt;/strong&gt;: With more people using voice assistants, it helps to format parts of your content in a question-and-answer style. Keep language natural, especially for headings and FAQs, so it matches how real people ask questions out loud.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Of course, this is just one part of the picture. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;With 13+ years in the web space and having co-founded a few projects, I understand the role of &lt;strong&gt;off-site SEO&lt;/strong&gt; as well, including backlinks, digital PR, and content marketing. That's why I always offer clients some extra guidance on &lt;em&gt;"what next"&lt;/em&gt;. If they don’t have someone who is handling that side, I suggest them a reliable &lt;a href="https://embryo.com/seo" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;SEO company&lt;/a&gt; I trust.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So, even when **SEO **isn’t directly requested, I think we still have a responsibility to make sure the site has a solid starting point.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I’m especially curious about things like structured data. Are you keeping up with it? Do you add it? Or do you skip it unless someone asks? Same for voice search, it’s one of those newer areas that barely gets mentioned, but I’m wondering if devs are paying attention and learning this stuff on their own.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It might be extra work sometimes, but getting the on-site SEO right helps the sites we build do something.&lt;/p&gt;
