      <description>&lt;p&gt;I'm organizing a online programming competition that's a bit different. Everything else out there feels unnecessarily intense, very math heavy, or just generally uninspired. Rather, we're encouraging collaboration, focusing on CS / software engineering skills, and building questions around real-world problems.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Right now, we're spending a lot of time designing unique problems and finding sponsors who are looking to reach really smart engineers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;With any luck, we'll spread the love of programming far and wide &amp;lt;3&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The real competitions with the 12k in prize money starts Feb 2020, and until then we are sending out practice problems.&lt;/p&gt;
