As the countdown to AceHack 5.0 begins, there’s one name consistently driving the momentum behind Rajasthan’s largest student-run hackathon — Rakesh Bangra.

Currently serving as the Lead Organiser of AceHack 5.0 and Chair of the ACM Student Chapter at University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Jaipur, Rakesh has been instrumental in shaping this edition into a landmark event. Under his leadership, AceHack 5.0 has grown beyond a college hackathon into a national-level innovation platform — and notably, Rajasthan’s first-ever hackathon officially partnered with Major League Hacking.

More Than an Event — A Movement

When AceHack 5.0 was first announced as a special December reveal, it wasn’t just another iteration of a hackathon. It was a statement of ambition. The vision was clear: create Rajasthan’s most inclusive, technically diverse, and professionally structured student tech event.

With the theme “FRACTURED REALITY,” this year’s hackathon challenges participants to rethink conventional approaches to modern problems. The idea is simple yet powerful — question the present, break limitations, and build solutions that reshape the future.

What Sets AceHack 5.0 Apart

Under Rakesh’s leadership, AceHack 5.0 stands out for several key reasons:

Rajasthan’s Largest Student-Run Hackathon: A platform bringing together hundreds of developers, designers, and innovators from across India.
First MLH-Partnered Hackathon in Rajasthan: The official MLH Member Event status ensures global standards in judging, mentorship, inclusivity, and hacker experience.
Built for Every Builder: From first-time coders to seasoned hackathon veterans, the ecosystem is designed to empower everyone.

Leadership Beyond Logistics

While managing partnerships, sponsorships, and large-scale coordination, Rakesh has also personally overseen the development of the ISOWBT portal — a full-stack registration and announcement system built to streamline the participant experience.

This hands-on involvement reflects his leadership style: strategic in vision, technical in execution.

March 7th – 8th, 2026

As AceHack 5.0 approaches, the campus of UEM Jaipur is set to transform into a 36-hour innovation arena. From AI and IoT to Web3 and beyond, participants will compete, collaborate, and create in an environment shaped by student ambition and national-level standards.

AceHack 5.0 is not just another hackathon on the calendar. It represents the growth of Rajasthan’s student tech ecosystem — and at the center of it stands Rakesh Bangra, leading the charge toward something bigger than an event: a legacy.
