AI is changing the industry quickly, competition is huge, and sometimes it feels difficult to know what actually matters anymore.</p> <p>I'm currently in my 7th semester of a Diploma in Computer Science. In a few months, we'll begin our industrial attachment, and my goal is to become employable during that period.</p> <p>So far, I've learned JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and I've built a <a href="https://rabbihossain.me" rel="noopener noreferrer">personal portfolio</a> where I have my projects. I'm also currently learning DSA and improving my problem-solving skills.</p> <p>My biggest question is: If I dedicate myself seriously for the next 4-5 months, is it realistic to become employable in today's market?</p> <p>If yes, what should I prioritize the most?</p> <ul> <li><p>DSA and LeetCode?</p></li> <li><p>Building more projects?</p></li> <li><p>Learning AI tools?</p></li> <li><p>Open source contributions?</p></li> <li><p>Applying for internships/jobs immediately?</p></li> </ul> <p>If you were in my position today, what would your exact roadmap be for the next 4-5 months?</p> <p>I'd especially appreciate advice from people who recently got hired or are actively working in the industry.</p> career careerdevelopment javascript webdev
