You might have noticed rapid "enshittification" progressing in entire software industry. Literally all major apps are full of crap. Bugs, ads, government-enforced spyware, KYC, age verifications and a lot more.

Not to mention brilliant ideas of our governments to come up with "accept the cookies" and "terms of services".

To cut a long story short - so far regulations don't work and things keep getting worse.

Whatever you're vibe-coding right now, whatever brilliant product you're preparing or have in mind, it's future is likely doomed:

Your app will start empty.

You won't be able to import videos, subscribers, or audience.

App stores will gatekeep any innovation that isn't profitable to store owner (enforce payment methods that will protect their profit models).

Defaults set on OS-level will beat quality.

If you get successful and threaten status quo, they'll copy it, bury it, or buy it.

The fix is obvious. The road is blocked.

Developers know how to build better apps. Solve more problems. The problem is not skill — it is access. The old platform owns the identity, data, audience, and default position.

Solution is open data and it's neutral discovery

Atlas is a protocol-level solution to open and neutral data discovery in the network. Think of it as a neutral search engine, that operates on transparent verifications and objective trust ratings instead of SEO driven by keyword spamming, ads, backlings and manipulative algorithms.

 How to start?

Well, Atlas is not yet ready, but also not just an idea. I'm writing here, because we need to build it together.

Check it out. I'd appreciate feedback and discord contacts. Together, we can build software that doesn't suck.
