Hi everyone!

This is a submission for the DEV Weekend Challenge: Community

 Demo

Live Demo
GitHub repo

 The Community

ADHDers. Or any other people who have been putting off a boring, vague, or just plain unpleasant task for three days, fully aware that it will take five minutes to complete.

As an ADHDer myself, I know this paralysis well. Most productivity tools assume you can just... start. Unstuck assumes you can't, and meets you there.

 What I Built

Unstuck is a web app that helps you get started on tasks you've been avoiding.

You describe what you're putting off and how you're feeling right now. The app uses AI to break your task into 5–7 tiny steps — small enough that starting feels almost effortless. Each step comes with a 5-minute timer, so you don't have to think about what to do next or how long to spend on it. Just read the step, hit start, and go.

 How I Built It

Stack: React, Tailwind CSS, Vite
AI: Gemini API

Thank you so much for reading, and happy spring 🌸

Perfect Landing: The One Halloween Page

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - Halloween Edition, Perfect Landing

 Demo

Live Demo

 What I Built

Hi everyone!

Here’s my very last-minute Halloween entry. I know I’m totally late for the party — but there will be more Halloweens to come!

I built The One Halloween Page: a single spot to create your costume with a little help from AI, and explore ideas for spooky decorations, creepy snacks, movies, and music.

Tech stack: React + Tailwind, Gemini AI for generating costume tutorials.

Hope you enjoy it — or at least find a good last-minute idea for next year!

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - June Celebrations, Perfect Landing: June Celebrations

 What I Built

Hi everyone!
For my entry, I chose International Hug Your Cat Day — because, well, it's about cats? Does anyone even need further explanation? 😅

I wanted this landing page to feel cute, warm, and cuddly, so I went with soft pastel colors and hand-drawn-style illustrations. I also added a bit of interactivity: a silly little quiz and a cute digital cat you can pet — just give it a click or tap, and it’ll purr back at you!
Those two features were the most fun (and at some point, the most annoying) parts to build, and I’m pretty proud of how they turned out.
I also included some info about cat body language, ideas on how to celebrate, and links to a few global shelters I encourage you to check out!

 Tech stack:

I used React as my js library and Tailwind as my css framework, nothing too fancy

 Credits:

All illustrations were generated by Chatgpt. She also helped me with texts, because English is still my second language.
The adorable doodle icons are by Khushmeen Sidhu, and the purring sound is by Jeff Kaale from Upbeat (or more probably their cat?).

I hope you enjoy the project — or at least have a bit of fun :)
If you have suggestions for improvement or spot any bugs, please let me know in the comments!

Thank you so much for reading, and have a great summer! 🐾

(just in case you missed it - here’s the demo again)

WeCoded Landing page

This is a submission for the WeCoded Challenge: Celebrate in Code

 My WeCoded Landing Page

 Demo

https://rinka-pro.github.io/wecoded/

 GitHub:

https://github.com/rinka-pro/wecoded

 How I Built It

For me, this project was a real challenge, especially in terms of design. I experimented with several versions before gradually arriving at the final one. I made sure to incorporate the suggested colors and gradients, and I also added some micro-animations to make the project more dynamic and engaging.

Story-wise, I wanted to honor those women and LGBTQ+ people, who paved the way in tech, highlight the importance of WeCoded’s mission and to emphasize that everyone has a chance to make history.

I decided not to use any frameworks because I wanted to keep it simple. However, I took the opportunity to practice TailwindCSS which turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable.

I’d like to give a special thanks to my bestie ChatGPT for helping me with texts, as English is not my first language. The images for the hero section were generated by Reve, the icons are from PixelArtIcons and Icons8.

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my submission — I really appreciate it! If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments!
