Tired of seeing the same annoying topics over and over? Me too. That’s why I built QuietFeed — a Chrome extension that lets you mute unwanted content on X, Facebook, and Reddit.

The Problem: Social Media Feeds Are a Mess
Social media is great for staying connected, but let’s be real — sometimes your feed is filled with content you don’t care about. Whether it’s spoilers, politics, drama, or just repetitive trends, it can get overwhelming.

Some platforms offer built-in mute or block features, but they’re often limited, hard to use, or don’t work the way you’d expect. I wanted something simple: a way to mute specific keywords, hashtags, and users across multiple platforms, all in one place.

The Solution: QuietFeed
I built QuietFeed, a Chrome extension that lets you filter out the content you don’t want to see. It works seamlessly on X, Facebook, and Reddit and gives you full control over your feed.

How It Works
Add keywords, hashtags, or usernames to your mute list
Choose to hide or blur muted content
Sync your mute list across devices
Easily import/export your filters for backup or sharing

Why I Built This
I’ve seen so many people frustrated by unwanted content cluttering their feeds. Whether it’s avoiding spoilers, political debates, or certain influencers, everyone has something they’d rather not see. QuietFeed lets you curate your own feed, making social media less stressful and more enjoyable.
