      <description>&lt;p&gt;A friendly warning to those who have opted to try the Big Sur beta and are using iTerm. I kept running into an issue where the terminal would freeze up and could only be recovered with a full system restart. It's seems I'm not alone and you can find details and a workaround here:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;In short the workaround is&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Disabling Enable session restoration under Preferences &amp;gt; Advanced &amp;gt; Session&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/blockquote&gt;
