This is a submission for DEV Computer Science Challenge v24.06.12: One Byte Explainer.

 Explainer

Electricity is the cornerstone of computer science because it powers all computing devices. Binary code, the language of computers, relies on electrical signals to represent 0 and 1. Without electricity, none of the hardware—processors, memory, storage—would function, making modern computing impossible.
