Today on the 12th of September I had the privilege of coding a project in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I tasked myself to code testimonial slider via a tutorial that I found on YouTube by @codewithsahand. Highly recommend especially if you want to practice your coding skills.

This tutorial enabled me to get comfortable with HTML. I also managed to Play more with CSS in a way that made me feel in control of my code which I loved. Then I also played with JavaScript which was so fun because I learned how to implement Arrays. I recently started learning JavaScript so this was a milestone for me.

Today was the first time I felt progressive in my Self taught developer Journey. I felt in control of my code and so happy that I knew more than 50% of what's going on. Normally I just follow the tutorials without understanding what I am doing But today was different. I am happy I didn't give up on this.

The first time I learnt to code, it was one of those moments in my life where I felt in control and very happy with my decision to go all in. But as time went on , I lost my fire for code and struggled to get back to that point where I actually loved coding. I've been in a runt for some time now, where I don't enjoy coding at all because I lost interest and don't feel that feeling I used to feel in the beginning. I even remember asking My Heavenly father for a laptop so I could finally do something worthwhile in my gap year, and the LORD God was faithful enough to get me one. With all this being said , I want to love coding again. I want to push myself to learn code like I used to and I want to make myself proud before the year ends.
