Introducing RYZOVA UCE — Open-Source Compatibility Analysis

Hello DEV Community! 👋

We're Ryzova, a technology company building software products and open-source developer tools.

Today, we'd like to introduce one of our projects: RYZOVA UCE (Universal Compatibility Engine).

 🚀 What is UCE?

UCE is a free, open-source, local-first tool designed to help developers analyze software projects and identify potential compatibility risks.

It supports analysis of ZIP archives and public Git repositories, with deterministic checks for project structure, dependencies, runtimes, configurations, and more.

🔗 Try UCE: https://uce.ryzova.com

💻 GitHub: https://github.com/RyzovaTech/Ryzova-UCE-Original

🔬 Testing UCE on Real Projects

We've conducted an experimental, read-only analysis of the public Express.js repository.

The original UCE engine reported a compatibility score of 98 and seven diagnostic signals.

However, these findings have not been independently confirmed as real compatibility defects.

We believe developer tools should be transparent about both their capabilities and their limitations.

🤝 We're Looking for Developer Feedback

We're inviting developers to try UCE on real software projects.

We'd particularly appreciate feedback about:

Useful compatibility findings

False positives or misleading warnings

Compatibility problems UCE missed

Report clarity and usability

Suggestions for improvement

You can share your findings in our GitHub community:

https://github.com/RyzovaTech/Ryzova-UCE-Original/discussions/96

Please avoid sharing private source code, credentials, or sensitive information.

 🌍 Open Source and Community

UCE is available under the Mozilla Public License 2.0.

Our priorities are accuracy, transparency, reliability, and developer experience.

We welcome constructive feedback from the developer community.

Thanks for taking a look!

— The Ryzova Team
