In today’s digital age, software plays an essential role in every sector—be it education, healthcare, banking, or ecommerce. With the increasing reliance on technology, the demand for high-quality, error-free software has never been higher. This is where Software Testing comes in.

  🌟 What is Software Testing?

Software testing is the process of evaluating a software application to detect differences between existing and required conditions (i.e., defects or bugs) and to ensure the software product is defect-free and meets user expectations.

It involves various testing methods, such as

Manual Testing

Automation Testing

API Testing

UI/UX Testing

Performance & Load Testing

Security Testing

These practices help ensure the software is reliable, secure, user-friendly, and functional.

📍 Software Testing in Bangladesh: The Current Scenario

In Bangladesh, the software industry is rapidly evolving. Local and international companies are investing in digital products, mobile applications, and enterprise solutions. However, quality assurance has often been an overlooked part of software development in the past.

But times are changing.

Today, more companies realize the importance of QA (quality assurance) and software testing in delivering robust, competitive products. The rise of local tech startups, fintech companies, and international outsourcing firms is creating new opportunities for QA professionals in Bangladesh.

💼 Career Opportunities for Software Testers

As the software landscape grows, so does the demand for skilled software test engineers, QA analysts, and **automation testers. From large firms like BJIT, Brain Station 23, and Datasoft to growing startups, everyone needs testing professionals.

Moreover, freelancing and remote testing jobs are becoming more common. Platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and Toptal have opened new doors for Bangladeshi testers to work with international clients.

  📚 Learning and Skill Development

In Bangladesh, several institutes and online platforms are now offering courses on software testing and QA, including

OSTAD

BASIS Institute of Technology & Management (BITM)

CodersTrust Bangladesh

YouTube channels and Udemy courses

To build a career in this field, one should start learning

STLC & SDLC

Bug Reporting Tools (like JIRA)

Test Case Design

Automation Tools (Selenium, Cypress)

API Testing (Postman, REST Assured)

🔍 Why Choose Software Testing as a Career?

👩‍💻 **Growing Demand—Every software company needs testers.

💸 **Competitive Salary—Especially for automation experts.

🌐 **Global Opportunities—QA jobs are in demand worldwide.

🎯 **Low Entry Barrier—You don’t need to be a full-time programmer.

🔁 **Continuous Learning—Tools and technologies keep evolving.

🔮 The Future of QA in Bangladesh

With the country's ambition to become a "Smart Bangladesh," software quality will play a key role. As more public and private services become digital, **reliable software testing practices will be necessary to ensure system stability and user trust.

AI-powered testing, DevOps integration, and test automation are becoming mainstream globally, and Bangladesh is gradually catching up. Young tech enthusiasts should consider software testing not as a backup plan but as a promising, future-proof career path.

  ✨ Final Thoughts

Software testing is not just about finding bugs—it's about ensuring a better user experience, reducing risks, and delivering high-quality products. In the context of Bangladesh, it's an emerging field with immense potential. Whether you're a fresher or a professional from another domain, now is the perfect time to explore the world of software testing.

Creating a personal portfolio is more than just listing your projects—it's about expressing your skills, personality, and passion through design and interactivity. In this blog, I’ll walk you through the making of my modern, responsive, and animated portfolio website that represents my journey as a full-stack web developer.

🎯 Why I Built This Portfolio

In the world of tech, first impressions often happen online. A portfolio isn’t just a resume—it’s your interactive business card, your digital home. I wanted a website that wasn’t just functional but also visually engaging, performance-optimized, and fun to explore.

My goals were:

Showcase my technical skills with real examples

Provide a smooth and interactive user experience

Ensure cross-device compatibility

Include animations and motion design to make it stand out

  🛠️ Tech Stack Overview

Here's the stack that powered my project:

Technology

Purpose

HTML5

Structure and semantic layout

CSS3 + Bootstrap 5

Responsive design and styling

JavaScript

DOM manipulation, logic, and API calls

GSAP

Smooth scroll-based animations

Particles.js

Background animation for the hero section

Formspree

Handling contact form submissions

GitHub API

Showcasing live GitHub stats

Service Worker + Manifest

Progressive Web App (PWA) support

  ✨ Core Features

  🔹 Responsive & Accessible Design

From desktop to mobile, every section is fully responsive. Using Bootstrap 5 and custom CSS, I ensured that the layout adapts seamlessly across screen sizes. Accessibility was also a key focus—I implemented clear color contrasts, semantic HTML, and keyboard-navigable elements.

  🎬 Animation & Interactivity

Animations play a huge role in user engagement. I used GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) to bring my intro section to life, enabling smooth fade-ins, scale transitions, and scroll-triggered effects.

A custom cursor, neon-glow buttons, and hover animations added personality and flair to the site without hurting performance.

  📧 Contact Form with Formspree

I didn’t want just a static form. So I integrated Formspree to handle submissions, including:

Real-time form validation

Loading indicators

Success and error messages with animation

It’s simple but effective for client inquiries or recruiter contact.

🛰️ PWA Support for Offline Browsing

Thanks to a Service Worker and
manifest.json
, the site is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Users can:

Install it like an app on their phone or desktop

Use it offline with cache-first loading

Experience native app-like behavior

This makes it fast, accessible, and future-ready.

  🐙 GitHub Integration

To showcase my coding activity, I connected the site with the GitHub API, which dynamically pulls:

Top programming languages

Repository counts

Contribution history

Even without an internet connection, fallback data ensures the site doesn't break.

  📊 Performance Optimization

I carefully tuned performance using:

Lazy-loading for images

will-change
,
contain
, and transform optimizations for animations

Font and asset loading strategies

On Lighthouse, the site consistently scores 95+ across all metrics, including Performance, Accessibility, and Best Practices.

  📁 Project Folder Structure

Portfolio/
├── index.html # Main HTML file

  🧩 Challenges Faced

Like any project, this wasn’t without hurdles:

GSAP scroll triggers required careful timing and layout adjustments

GitHub API rate limits had to be handled with fallback logic

Ensuring the form had proper feedback and validation took some trial and error

Cross-browser testing revealed some quirks that needed fixing

🌐 Live Preview & GitHub Link

You can check out the live version and explore the code:

  ✍️ Final Thoughts

Building this portfolio taught me more than just frontend tricks—it improved my attention to detail, user experience mindset, and performance tuning skills. It’s not just a project—it’s a reflection of my journey, passion, and growth as a developer.

If you're a developer reading this, I highly encourage you to create your own portfolio from scratch. Not only does it challenge you, but it also becomes a strong personal asset in your career.

🎬 From Zero to 130+ Tutorial Videos in 4 Months: My Journey with Eduman Software

When I first joined the Eduman Software team, I never imagined I would end up creating over 130 short tutorial videos within just 4 months—especially with zero prior experience in video editing.

But that’s exactly what happened.

  💡 The Mission

Our goal was clear: create a complete set of short tutorial videos for each module and submodule of the Eduman School Management Software. These videos would be used to help school administrators, teachers, and support staff understand how to operate each part of the software effectively.

The platform had:

15 Main Modules

140+ Submodules

My task? Break them down and create short, effective, and visually clear tutorial videos for each.

  🎥 The Challenge

Here’s what made this project especially demanding:

Condensing 10-Minute Videos into 1-2 Minutes
Each module had a lot of functionality. I had to capture the essence of each in under 2 minutes, without losing clarity. It was like compressing a textbook into a sticky note.

Learning on the Fly
I started this journey with no real experience in video editing. But within 1 month, I learned tools like:

CapCut

Adobe Photoshop

Screen recording tools

And began editing like a pro.

Full Ownership of the Video Lifecycle
I managed everything:

Script writing (in my head and on the fly)

Recording

Editing

Thumbnail design

YouTube description & uploading

Multiple Remakes & Real Data Issues
Often, after uploading a video to YouTube, we discovered that real data was visible (like names or financial info). This meant re-recording and re-editing the entire video. I had to redo many videos multiple times to get them just right.

Unique Approach for Every Module
Each module worked differently. There was no one-size-fits-all. This made the project even more challenging—and exciting.

  🔍 Major Modules Covered

Here are a few of the core modules I worked on (with links to the YouTube playlists):

Core Settings – Watch Playlist

Student Information – Watch Playlist

Teacher Information – Watch Playlist

  🧠 What I Learned

How to simplify complex software workflows into short, understandable tutorials.

Fast, efficient video editing workflows under pressure.

The importance of accuracy, user privacy, and visual clarity.

How to work under strict deadlines without compromising quality.

🔚 Final Thoughts

This project was one of the most challenging—and rewarding—experiences of my career. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, taught me new skills, and most importantly, helped thousands of users understand a complex software tool with ease.

If you’re someone looking to grow, my advice is simple: accept the challenge first—skills will follow.
