Creating a personal portfolio is more than just listing your projects—it's about expressing your skills, personality, and passion through design and interactivity. In this blog, I’ll walk you through the making of my modern, responsive, and animated portfolio website that represents my journey as a full-stack web developer.

🎯 Why I Built This Portfolio

In the world of tech, first impressions often happen online. A portfolio isn’t just a resume—it’s your interactive business card, your digital home. I wanted a website that wasn’t just functional but also visually engaging, performance-optimized, and fun to explore.

🎬 Animation & Interactivity

Animations play a huge role in user engagement. I used GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) to bring my intro section to life, enabling smooth fade-ins, scale transitions, and scroll-triggered effects.

A custom cursor, neon-glow buttons, and hover animations added personality and flair to the site without hurting performance.

📧 Contact Form with Formspree

I didn’t want just a static form. So I integrated Formspree to handle submissions, including:

Loading indicators
Success and error messages with animation

It’s simple but effective for client inquiries or recruiter contact.

🛰️ PWA Support for Offline Browsing

Thanks to a Service Worker and manifest.json, the site is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Users can:

Install it like an app on their phone or desktop
Use it offline with cache-first loading
Experience native app-like behavior

This makes it fast, accessible, and future-ready.

To showcase my coding activity, I connected the site with the GitHub API, which dynamically pulls:

Even without an internet connection, fallback data ensures the site doesn't break.

📊 Performance Optimization

I carefully tuned performance using:

Lazy-loading for images
will-change, contain, and transform optimizations for animations
Font and asset loading strategies

On Lighthouse, the site consistently scores 95+ across all metrics, including Performance, Accessibility, and Best Practices.

🎬 From Zero to 130+ Tutorial Videos in 4 Months: My Journey with Eduman Software

When I first joined the Eduman Software team, I never imagined I would end up creating over 130 short tutorial videos within just 4 months—especially with zero prior experience in video editing.

But that’s exactly what happened.

💡 The Mission

Our goal was clear: create a complete set of short tutorial videos for each module and submodule of the Eduman School Management Software. These videos would be used to help school administrators, teachers, and support staff understand how to operate each part of the software effectively.

The platform had:

15 Main Modules
140+ Submodules

My task? Break them down and create short, effective, and visually clear tutorial videos for each.

🎥 The Challenge

Here’s what made this project especially demanding:

Condensing 10-Minute Videos into 1-2 Minutes
Each module had a lot of functionality. I had to capture the essence of each in under 2 minutes, without losing clarity. It was like compressing a textbook into a sticky note.
Learning on the Fly
I started this journey with no real experience in video editing. But within 1 month, I learned tools like:

CapCut
Adobe Photoshop
Screen recording tools

And began editing like a pro.

Full Ownership of the Video Lifecycle I managed everything:

Script writing (in my head and on the fly)
Recording
Editing
Thumbnail design
YouTube description & uploading

Multiple Remakes & Real Data Issues
Often, after uploading a video to YouTube, we discovered that real data was visible (like names or financial info). This meant re-recording and re-editing the entire video. I had to redo many videos multiple times to get them just right.
Unique Approach for Every Module
Each module worked differently. There was no one-size-fits-all. This made the project even more challenging—and exciting.

This project was one of the most challenging—and rewarding—experiences of my career. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, taught me new skills, and most importantly, helped thousands of users understand a complex software tool with ease.
