This hits home. I just shipped my app Sanctuary Faith and had to fight the urge to overcomplicate everything.Biggest lesson: done is better than perfect. Users don't care about your fancy architecture they care if it works.

Great read!

I built an app where you can chat with Jesus AI

I spent years feeling like I couldn't ask honest questions about my faith.

Every time I brought up doubts at church, I got weird looks or canned answers. So I stopped asking.

But the questions didn't go away.

So I built Sanctuary Faith — a free app for people exploring their spiritual journey.

 What it does:

Jesus AI — ask anything, no judgment

Worship music — to lift your spirit

Daily devotionals — short reads to start your day

Prayer wall — share and support others

Community — connect with people on the same journey

 Why I built it:

Not everyone feels safe asking hard questions in traditional spaces. I wanted to create a place where people could explore, doubt, and grow — without fear.

 The tech:

Built with React Native, Node.js, and AI integration. Fully free to use.

 Try it:

sanctuaryfaith.org

Launching on Product Hunt this Tuesday (Jan 13). Would love your feedback!

What's a question you've always wanted to ask but felt you couldn't?
