I was eager to know buzz word "Digital Twins" and it is a hot topic for the everybody. I hope all the companies are working for Digital Twins such as Microsoft, IBM, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, GCP and so on.

What is Digital Twins?

A digital twin is a virtual illustration that is the real-time digital counterpart of a physical object or process.

Digital Twin = Digital Replica of Real-world things, Places, Business Process, People

It has announced on Microsoft Build 2020 event that, Azure Digital Twins features, the IoT Platform that permits the creation of next generation IoT Connected Solutions that approach to the real world. I think it will be IoT Solution for all the business challenges, evolve the industries or companies to shaping the businesses.

What is about an Azure Digital Twins?

Azure Digital Twins is an Internet of Things (IoT) platform that permits you to form a digital illustration of real-world things, places, business processes and other people. You can gain insights that assist, you drive good product, optimize operations and cost, and make breakthrough customer experiences. you can currently do therefore across environments of every kind, as well as buildings, factories, farms, energy networks, railways, stadiums and even entire cities.

What are the features available in Azure Digital Twins?

Open Modeling Language

Output to Azure Time Series Insights, Storage and analytics

Open Modeling Language

The Digital Twins Definition Language (DTDL) is a language for describing models and interfaces for IoT digital twins. Digital twins area unit models of entities within the physical setting like shipping containers, rooms, works floors, or logical entities that participate in IoT solutions. mistreatment DTDL to explain a digital twin's capabilities allows the IoT platform and IoT solutions to leverage the linguistics of the entity.

It is using the rich and flexible Digital Twins Definition Language based on the JSON-LD standard, you can configure your Azure Digital Twins services to tailor to the specific needs of your use case.

DTDL is also used for models all round other Azure IoT services, including IoT Plug and Play and Azure Time Series Insights.

Live Execution Environment

Azure Digital Twins permits you to bring your digital twins to life exploitation data from IoT and different data sources, making an always-up-to-date digital illustration of your setting that's ascendible and secure.

You can build the dynamic business logic and data processing as data flows through the execution environment, and now you can do the power of external compute resource such as Azure Function.

Input from IoT and business systems

You can very easily connect assets such as IoT and IoT Edge devices, as well as existing systems such as ERP & CRM to Azure Digital Twins to drive the execution environment.

You can now use or existing Azure IoT Hub to connect, monitor, manage all your assets at scale, taking advantage of the devices management capabilities that IoT hub provider.

you can use the Digital Twins Rest APIs that, you can also use other than IoT, unlocking even more actionable insight with Azure Digital Twins.

Output to Azure Time Series Insights, Storage and analytics

You can integrated Azure Digital Twins with other Azure services to build complete end to end solutions. You can find the other azure services as following

My Review of 2021 journey

I would like to share with you all that, my stories about myself. I am Santhakumar Munuswamy from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. I was started my journey of professional career as a Software Engineer in a small company in 2007. Before this, I was in the Non-IT industry for a couple of years. Now I am working as Chapter Lead / Architect for Microsoft Technologies in the RNTBCI (Top Automotive company). I have around 15 years of professional experience in the various roles in Project Manager, Chapter Lead, Technical Architect, Genesys Consultant, Senior Technical Lead, Technical Lead, Team Lead, and Developer.

I have started a journey of RNTBCI in Feb' 2020. In 2021, I have been awarded the VP Award for FY20 - Q4 in the row as a nominated category as "Best Productive Team Award" - Excellent project executed and delivered the quality product within the timeline. Thank you for your support and commitment to working for the developers. Special thanks to all the leaders from Engg IS, RNTBCI.

In 2020, I was started my learning journey with cutting-edge technologies and the modern era such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Multi-Cloud environments. In mid of September, I was joined Professional Certificate Programme in Advanced Data Science for Managers from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. In 2021, it is a one-year learning journey on scarifying for all the weekends and it has been successfully completed one-year learning experiences through #Eruditus and #IIMK.

Special thanks to all Professors, coordination, and marketing team. Thank you to all the friends and our group people for your kind of supports and learning experiences. I have done a capstone project for the Data Science field as "Banking Product Campaign"

In April 2021, I have joined the program as "Applied Data Science Module" at WorldQuant University There are two modules like I: Scientific Computing & Python, II: Machine Learning & Statistical Analysis. I have been successfully completed both modules in December and received badges from #WorldQuant #University.

In August 2021, I have done my application for EMBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. I have been successfully completed the Business Foundation course and my interview has done great with #MaureenWysocki. I was got an acceptable offer for #EMBA from #Quantic. But I was not able to join this program due to financial problems. But I will try this in the future.

I have done upskilling and reskilling 200 hrs with learning platforms such as #RNTBCI LMS, #LinkedIn, #Coursera, #Udemy, #PMI, #DataCamp and etc.

How to reset the password for Azure DevOps

In this blog, we will discuss about the how to reset the password for Azure DevOps using Microsoft account. We will see the step by step procedures such as Update your password, SSRS Setup, Check the password reset into your account.

Update your password

Open the browser and paste the following URL and press Enter
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/

Click the sigin in button at the top right side of the page
The page will be redirect to the login page.
Now, you can enter the email address (work email id). Then click the Next button.

you can enter the password (Temporary password). Then click the Sign in button.

Note: Temporary password will be provided by Azure Administrator or System Administrator
After clicking the sign in button, “update your password” page as shown below will open.

You can enter the current password (temporary password), New password, confirm password and click the Sign in button

After Signing in the below page opens up and Click Next button

The “don’t lose access to your account” page will open as shown below.

SSPR Setup

Then click the Set it up now link button for Phone Authentication.

The Authentication phone window will open.

You can select your country and enter the mobile number. then click the text me button.

After clicking the text me button, you will receive the verification code to the mobile number configured. You can enter the verification code and click the verify button.

After clicking the verify button, you can see the phone authentication success message highlighted with tick mark. Then click the Set it up now link button for Email Authentication.

The Authentication email window will open. You can enter the email address (personal email id) and click the email me button.

After clicking the email me button, you will receive the verification code into your email inbox. You can enter the verification code and click the verify button.

After clicking the verify button, you can see the email authentication success message highlighted with tick mark. Then click the Finish button.

Check the password reset into your account

Open the browser and paste the following URL and press Enter
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/

Click the sigin in button in the top right side of the page
The page will be redirect to the login page.
Now, you can enter the email address (work email id). Then click the Next button.

Now, you can enter the password (type password wrongly). Then click the Sign in button.

After clicking the sign in button, in case your password is incorrect. Then you will get this message “Your account or password is incorrect. If you can't remember your password, reset it now.”

Then, click the reset it now link button. After clicking the reset it now link button, the page will redirect to Microsoft Online Password Reset page as below.

You can enter the characters shown in the picture as below. Then click the Next button

After clicking the next button, the Microsoft Online Password reset window will redirect to verification step 1 window as shown below

You can choose Email my alternate email address or Send a text to my mobile phone number or call my mobile phone number. In my case I have selected Email my alternative email address option. Click the Email button. you will receive the verification code in your email. You can enter the verification code and click the Next button.

The choose a new password window will open

Now, you can enter the new password and confirm new password. Then click the Finish button

This makes sure that you are able to reset your password on your own
