Hey everyone! 👋

I've been reading posts on DEV for a while, and today I'm finally writing my first one.

Why I'm here

Every time I hit a bug that ate half my day, the answer turned out to be in a post someone took the time to write. I figured it's about time I started giving something back, even if it's small.

What to expect from me

I'm going to write about what I'm learning as I go, including the wins, the mistakes, and the "why did that take me three hours?" moments. I'm not here to pretend I have everything figured out. I'm here to learn in public, get better, and maybe save someone else a bit of time.

What I'm hoping to get out of this
Learn faster. Explaining something is the quickest way to find out whether I understand it.
Get feedback. If I get something wrong, please tell me. That's how I improve.
Meet other developers. The best part of any tech community is the people.
Let's connect

I'd love to hear from you. What's one thing you wish you'd known when you started coding? Drop it in the comments.

Thanks for reading, and I'm looking forward to being part of the community!
