The Hackathon-AI-Web3-Security will follow the following schedule:

18th of July 2023: Application starts
01st of August 2023: Hackathon Kickoff and Topic Selection
08th of August 2023: Midway Checkpoint and Mentor Support
22nd of August 2023: Hackathon Conclusion and Project Submission Deadline
25th of August 2023: Evaluation Period
31st of August 2023: Winners Announcement and Closing Ceremony

Participation Guidelines

To participate in the SCAI Hackathon, please follow these guidelines:

Form a team with a minimum of two members and a maximum of five members.
Choose a topic from the list provided.
Create a GitHub repository for your project with a clear and descriptive name.
Develop your solution within the specified timeframe of the Hackathon.
Document your progress, code, and resources in your GitHub repository.
Submit the link to your GitHub repository through the provided submission form.

Submission and Evaluation

To successfully submit your project for evaluation, please adhere to the following steps:

Verify that your project is fully functional and satisfies the specified requirements for your chosen topic.
Document the features, functionality, and implementation details of your project in the README.md file within your GitHub repository.
Include clear instructions for running and testing your project.
Prior to the Hackathon deadline, submit the link to your GitHub repository via the designated submission form.

The Projects submitted will undergo evaluation based on various criteria, including conception, technical implementation, product design, creative utilization, and real-life impact. Experienced mentors and judges specializing in Web3 security, blockchain, and AI will be available to provide guidance and support throughout the Hackathon. They will offer assistance, answer questions, and evaluate the submitted projects. The evaluation process follows a predetermined rubric to ensure fairness and transparency in the competition for all participants.

Awards and Prizes

Teams will compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Category Awards. We are excited to announce the mega prizes:

First Place: 50,000 SCAI
Second Place: 30,000 SCAI
Third Place: 20,000 SCAI

Additional prizes, such as honorable mentions or special category awards may be announced during the Hackathon as well.
