Introduction

As a developer and designer, we often need high-quality images and vector resources for projects. In this post, I’ll share three of my go-to platforms: Unsplash (free high-quality photos), pngfree.ai (free high-quality PNG images), and SVGRepo (free SVG vector graphics). These sites have helped me save countless hours, and I think they might come in handy for others too.

 1. Unsplash - Free High-Quality Photography

What it is: Unsplash is a fantastic platform offering thousands of high-quality, royalty-free photos. Whether I need visuals for web design, UI mockups, blog posts, or even ad campaigns, I’ve found Unsplash to be incredibly reliable.

Why I like it: The variety of photos is amazing, and the search function is really intuitive. All the images are high-resolution and free to use without worrying about licenses.

How I use it: I often use Unsplash for background images, adding a professional touch to my websites or apps. It’s also my go-to for finding great portrait shots and landscape photography.

 2. pngfree.ai - Free High-Quality PNG Images

What it is: pngfree.ai is a treasure trove of free, high-quality transparent PNG images. It’s especially useful for anyone working on design or development projects.

Why I like it: Every image comes with a transparent background, which saves me the hassle of removing it myself. The quality is consistently great, and it’s super easy to download what I need.

How I use it: I use pngfree.ai when I need clean, ready-to-use images for web design or app assets.

 3. SVGRepo - Free SVG Vector Graphics

What it is: SVGRepo is a massive library of free vector graphics. It’s been a lifesaver whenever I need icons, illustrations, or even simple graphics for my projects.

Why I like it: With over 50,000 SVG files, I can always find something that fits my needs. Plus, I can download in different formats (like PNG or SVG) and even tweak the files to suit my project.

How I use it: I mainly use SVGRepo for UI design and web development projects. It’s perfect for building icon sets or adding custom illustrations to interfaces.

 Conclusion

These three websites have become an essential part of my workflow. Each of them fills a specific niche: Unsplash for photos, pngfree.ai for transparent PNGs, and SVGRepo for vector graphics. They’ve made it so much easier for me to find high-quality resources without spending hours digging around or worrying about licensing.

If you’re working on design or development projects, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.
