Hey everyone,
I'm Shoaib Akhtar — and I recently started my own digital brand: GrowwithShoby.

This isn’t a “success story” post — it’s more of a reflection on how I transitioned from building websites to learning digital marketing, and why I decided to bring it all together under one name.

💻 Starting as a Web Developer

A couple of years back, I was just trying to learn how to build websites. I was self-taught — no big courses, no mentors, just YouTube, blogs, and a lot of late nights figuring out HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I loved how code could turn ideas into something real on a screen. I started building small websites — mostly for fun, sometimes for friends, sometimes for myself.

But after a while, I realized just building a website isn’t enough. People needed help getting traffic, creating content, understanding how to show up on Google — basically, how to grow online.

 📚 Learning Digital Marketing

That’s when I started exploring digital marketing.

At first, it felt overwhelming — SEO, social media, content, branding, ads — it was a different world from clean HTML tags and styled components. But something clicked. I started applying SEO to the sites I built. I tried optimizing blog posts, writing better copy, and designing for conversions.

I didn’t take a shortcut. I tested stuff. I broke things. I learned.

And the more I learned, the more I realized — I want to help people not just build online presences, but actually grow them.

 🌱 Why I Started GrowwithShoby

So now, I’m starting my own digital brand: GrowwithShoby.

It's still small — just me right now — but it’s real. I’m offering what I know best:

Websites that are fast and SEO-friendly

Basic SEO setup and audits

Graphic design and brand identity

Social media marketing strategies

Helping small businesses get listed, build online presence, and grow

This isn’t some big agency or overnight brand. It’s a name I chose to reflect where I am and what I want to do: help people and brands grow online.

👨‍💻 My Portfolio (Built by Me)

I recently built and launched my portfolio website and GrowWithShoby site website . It’s fully custom, optimized for SEO, responsive, and reflects what I can do — both as a web dev and a digital marketer.

If you’ve got feedback, I’d love to hear it.

 🙌 Thanks for Reading

If you’re someone who's just starting, unsure, switching paths, or learning alone — I get it. I'm still figuring things out too. But if I can help you in any way, feel free to reach out. I genuinely want to connect, collaborate, and grow with others.

Let’s grow together. 🌱

GrowWithShoby

https://growwith-shoby.web.app

Shoaib

How to learn ReactJS on a low spec PC

Let me guess something.

You started learning Frontend web development on a low spec pc, you reached a point where you know Javascript well enough, you decided to start learning reactJS, as soon as start creating react app you see you pc freezing, you open Task Manager and see what? Ram and cpu usage touching sky!

I've been in that situation and i am here to tell you how i managed using react on that damn slow pc.

One advice will be, yeah invest in a new pc or upgrade the one you have, It will be needed in future. But if you can't, let me help you.

So First thing is you have to stop using VS Code Editor :(
I know it will be hard because VS Code is ♥️, but you gotta pay some price, nothing comes for free.
Here's few replacement:-

Sublime Text - Really lightweight but less beginner friendly, i suggest what installation tutorials.

Or,

Online IDEs - Basically a code editor that runs in a browser, use Stackblitz.io for react development as it saves time and resources. Super helpful for low End PCs.
(This is basically for learning not for personal project, as you files will be public)

There are more options like github codespace, vscode online, etc you should try everything and choose for yourself which one fulfils your purpose.

And lastly, if you're gonna watch tutorials or follow alongs just play the video on phone and code in pc, don't run any app when react project is running.

That's all folks, hope i could help you with this post, Keep learning!

Are you willing to trying your hands on Web Development but don't have a computer or laptop. Same pinch! This was me 8 months ago. I still don't have a pc yet i pretty confident with my front end skills. In these 8 months i made tons of projects!

I never knew that i could become a Front-end web Developer without having a PC.
To Start All you need is An Android Device and a strong will to learn.
(For IOS Users: You own a Iphone, you are rich enough to get a pc Bruh!)

So, First You need to download
Spck Editor. I have tried every code editors out there for mobile and i can tell that this is the farmost better than the rest. It's clean, efficient, easy to use!

You can Get that on Google Play store. For more comfort, you can buy a Keyboard and a OTG Cable so you can use the keyboard on your phone.

Then i suggest browse a web development beginner course on Youtube or FreeCodeCamp.com, There are enough free sources for you to learn!

Lastly, if you want to check how your website look on bigger screens you can check that on this website
http://www.viewportemulator.com/
Just host your website on github and paste the link in this website. You can check how your website looks in various screen sizes!

Have a great future ahead!

Here's How you can create a React App on Android Device

Hey Everyone, This is my first community post hope you like it!

I started learning Web development without having a pc. I only have an android phone which helped me to find various ways doing Front-end web developement on Android.

First you need to Install Termux, 'Acode editor'(I am using Paid one) and 'Files' App for this.

open termux and run
pkg update
and
pkg upgrade

Then, run
pkg install nodejs
. After installing successfully, run
npm i -g create-react-app
and after that
npx create-react-app App-name
it will take few minutes.

After installed open Acode Editor, open side-bar and click on add folder, on the top there is a plus sign click that, it will open a pop up with two input fields.

On the first field write projects and click on second field, it will open file manager so make sure to open with the 'Files' app. Open sidebar scroll down you will see Termux, Click on that there will be your react app folder, Now at the botom there is a button 'allow permission to....' like that click on that, and the react app directory will be openedin Acode editor, Your can navigate files within.

To run the app go to Termux and write command
cd App-name
and then
npm start
Your react project would be live in localhost!

Thanks for reading, if you encounter any problem let me know!
