Developers often focus purely on code and skip the "words" part of a product captions, microcopy, onboarding text. But good copy is what actually converts a visitor into a user.

A small example: while building content around social media tools, I noticed how much captions/microcopy affect engagement. Even a simple caption generator or resource like Caption Garden shows how much thought goes into short-form copywriting something devs building consumer apps often overlook.

If you're building a side project with any user-facing text, don't treat copy as an afterthought. Test different microcopy, keep it short, and match tone to your audience.
