Why "no upload" matters

When you use a typical online converter, three things happen that you cannot see:

A few worth trying first

Remove Background cuts the subject out of a photo using an AI model that runs on your own device. Product photos and profile pictures never leave your computer.
Video Editor trims, crops for Reels and Shorts, adds captions and music, and exports MP4 — all without uploading a single clip.
EXIF Remover strips hidden data from photos, such as the GPS location where they were taken, before you share them online.

How is this possible in a browser?

Modern browsers are far more capable than most people realise. The same technology that runs video calls and 3D games can read documents, decode images, run AI models and encode video. Toolclove loads the code for each tool once, and from then on your device does the work.

That also makes it fast. There is no waiting for a large file to upload and then download again — a PDF merge usually finishes in about the time it takes to click the button.

A handful of tools, such as DNS Lookup and Speed Test, have to reach the internet to do their job — you cannot test a connection without using it. They send only what the lookup needs, and they never touch your files.
