The fashion and accessories industry is constantly evolving and looking for ways to increase quality, speed, and creativity in production. In the past, the production of leather products such as bracelets, necklaces, key chains, and other accessories was a completely manual, time-consuming, and skilled process. However, with the advent of new technologies, especially computer numerically controlled (CNC) laser cutting machines, this industry has undergone a tremendous revolution. This article examines in detail the steps, advantages, challenges, and prospects for the industrial production of leather accessories using this technology.

Industrial production steps step by step

The production process begins with an initial idea and ends with a final product ready to be released to the market. In the industrial method with a laser machine, these steps are as follows. In the following, I will try to provide you with comprehensive information about the pattern of leather bracelets and accessories in the industrial method.

Step 1: Digital Design

It all starts with a computer-generated design. Designers create their desired pattern الگوی دستبند چرم واکسسوری چرم using vector graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or CAD software such as AutoCAD. Next, the exact dimensions, cutting lines, hole locations for the strap and buckle, and any engraving designs (such as logos, names, or decorative motifs) are digitally drawn with micrometer precision. The final file is usually saved in vector formats such as DXF, DWG, AI, or SVG so that the CNC machine can read the laser path correctly.

Step 2: Material Selection

The choice of leather type has a direct impact on the final quality of the product and the cutting process. Natural Leather: Leathers such as cowhide, goatskin, and sheepskin are very suitable for this task. Vegetable-tanned leathers offer very clean and precise cuts due to their high density. Artificial Leather: Artificial leathers such as PU (polyurethane) also cut well with a laser. However, leathers containing PVC (polyvinyl chloride) should be avoided as they release toxic and corrosive chlorine gas when burned, which is dangerous for both the operator and the machine. The thickness of the leather also plays a key role in the laser machine settings.

Step 3: Preparing and Setting Up the CNC Laser Machine (Machine Setup)

A CNC laser cutting machine is a powerful tool that burns or vaporizes material by focusing a beam of light. Correct settings are critical to achieving the desired result. The design file is transferred to the laser machine’s control software. The operator adjusts three main parameters. Laser Power: The amount of energy in the laser beam. For thicker leathers, more power is needed. Cutting speed: The speed at which the laser head moves over the work surface. High speed produces a faster cut but the edges may not be completely cut. Low speed produces a deeper and cleaner cut but increases the risk of burning the edges. Frequency (PPI - Pulses Per Inch): The number of laser pulses per inch. Higher frequencies are better for precise engraving and lower frequencies are better for cutting. Optimal nesting: The machine software can arrange the patterns tightly together on the leather sheet to minimize material waste.

Step 4: Cutting and Engraving Process

After the settings, the process begins Cutting: The laser head moves with high precision along the paths defined in the digital file and separates the bracelet or accessory pieces from the leather sheet. This cutting is done without any physical contact, so the leather does not stretch or deform. Engraving/Etching: If the design includes patterns or text, the laser burns the surface of the leather at a lower power and higher speed to engrave the desired design with a shallow depth. This feature allows for unique personalization.

Step 5: Post-Production & Assembly

The cut pieces are not yet the final product and require finishing steps. Edge Cleaning: Laser-cut edges are usually slightly dark and sooted. This soot can be easily removed with a damp cloth or alcohol. In some designs, this dark edge is retained as an aesthetic feature. Dyeing and finishing: If necessary, the edges or surface of the leather are dyed and finished with special materials to make it more durable and beautiful. Fittings assembly and installation: In this stage, the various parts are connected together. Fittings such as locks, buckles, rivets, buttons and rings are installed to form the final product.

Advantages of using laser cutting

Key advantages: Unparalleled accuracy and repeatability: The laser machine is able to produce thousands of identical parts with an accuracy of one hundredth of a millimeter; something that is impossible with the manual method.

High production speed: Laser cutting is much faster than manual cutting with a cutter or mold and is ideal for mass production. Possibility of creating complex and delicate designs: The laser can easily create very complex, lattice and delicate patterns that are impossible to cut by hand. Reduced material waste: Thanks to optimized nesting software, the maximum surface area of the leather sheet can be used. Non-contact cutting: The lack of physical contact between the tool and the leather prevents any pressure, stretching or damage to its texture. Flexibility in production: Changing the design and producing a new product only requires uploading a new digital file and there is no need to make expensive molds. This makes customized and small-volume production economical.

Definition and Purpose of Buying a Corporate Website
Buying a corporate website means investing in creating an official and authoritative digital platform for a company or organization. This website, more than a simple online brochure, acts as your 24-hour showcase and digital headquarters. Its main purpose is to establish credibility, provide accurate information about services or products, introduce brand identity and values, and create a direct communication channel with customers, business partners, and investors. A professional corporate website is the first point of contact that many audiences will have with your business, and its design and content have a direct impact on their initial judgment and the level of trust they have in your brand.

Different Options for “Buying” a Corporate Website(خريد سايت شرکتي)

When it comes to “buying” a corporate website, there are usually three main options available to you, each with a different price and level of quality:

The Economical Option (Template-Based Sites): This method involves purchasing a ready-made WordPress theme and partially customizing it. This option is the cheapest and fastest way, but your site will not be unique and you may encounter limitations in performance and speed.
The Professional and Conventional Solution (Semi-Custom WordPress Site): In this method, a website design company will design a website tailored to your needs, using WordPress and a combination of professional templates and custom development. This option strikes a good balance between cost, time, and quality and is suitable for most companies.
Advanced Solution (Custom Coded Website): For large companies or businesses with very specific needs, the site is coded from scratch using multiple programming languages. This method offers the highest level of flexibility, security, and performance, but is the most expensive and time-consuming option.

Key and Essential Components of a Successful Corporate Website

A successful corporate website should include a set of essential pages and features to achieve its goals:

Professional and Responsive Design: The site’s appearance should be modern, clean, and consistent with your brand identity, and displayed correctly on all devices (mobile, tablet, and desktop).
Essential pages: include the home page (general introduction), about us (story, team and company history), services/products (with full descriptions), contact us (with contact form, address and map) and news or articles section (blog) to attract the audience and improve SEO.
High-quality content: Texts should be professional, without spelling mistakes and completely clear. Using high-quality images and videos is also essential to attract attention.
Search engine optimization (SEO): The technical structure of the site should be optimized from the beginning to rank in Google so that potential customers can find you.
High speed and security: The site should load quickly and ensure the security of user information by having an SSL certificate (HTTPS protocol).

The purchase process and investment perspective

The process of purchasing a corporate site usually begins with a consultation and needs assessment session to determine your goals. The design company then provides a proposal (formal proposal) including a description of the services, timing, and cost. After the agreement and signing of the contract, the design, development, content entry, testing, and finally launch phases are carried out. It is very important to look at the purchase of a corporate website as a strategic investment, not an expense. A cheap and weak website can damage your reputation and take away many opportunities from you, while a professional website will be a powerful tool for marketing, branding, and growing your business with a very high return on investment. Also, include ongoing costs such as annual renewals of hosting and domain, and support and maintenance contracts in your budget.

What is an e-commerce website and why do you need one?

What is an e-commerce website and why do you need one?

An e-commerce website is an online platform that allows you to sell your products or services directly to customers. This site is actually your online store that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and has no geographical restrictions. Unlike a corporate website whose main purpose is to provide information, the main purpose of an e-commerce website is to conduct transactions. These websites are equipped with the necessary tools to manage products (such as adding, editing and categorizing products), process orders, manage inventory and, most importantly, receive online payments through banking portals. Buying an e-commerce website means building the main engine of your online business that can transform your sales.

Main Options for “Buying” an E-Commerce Website

There are several solutions to having an e-commerce website, with different costs and levels of control:

SaaS platforms like Shopify: In this model, you “rent” a store on a monthly or annual basis. It’s very quick and easy to set up, but your control is limited and you’ll always be tied to that platform. (This option is less popular in Iran due to the limited Iranian payment gateways).(خريد سايت فروشگاهي)
Using Open-Source Content Management Systems: This is the most popular and standard solution in Iran. You build a complete and powerful e-commerce website using WordPress and the WooCommerce store builder plugin. In this method, you are the full owner of your site and have a lot of flexibility for customization and development. The initial cost includes design and setup, and ongoing costs are limited to hosting and domain.
Custom coding: For very large stores with unique processes, the site is programmed from scratch. This method offers the highest level of performance, security, and flexibility, but is much more expensive and time-consuming, and is usually recommended for large-scale businesses.

Vital and essential components of a successful e-commerce site

A functional e-commerce site is not just a gallery of products, but must have a set of key features to make the shopping experience enjoyable and easy for the customer:

Full product management: Ability to add products with full details (price, image, description, features, availability).
Shopping cart and secure checkout: A simple and smooth process to finalize the purchase and connect to reliable bank payment gateways.
Responsive design: Perfect display of the site on mobile, because a large part of online purchases are made through smartphones.
Advanced search and filter: The ability to easily search for products and filter them based on price, brand, color, etc.
User panel: A space for customers to view their previous orders, manage addresses, and track the status of the current order.
High speed and security: A slow or insecure site quickly destroys customer trust. Having an SSL (HTTPS) certificate is an absolute must.

Beyond the purchase: Costs and investment perspective

The cost of “buying a store website” is not the only initial cost. You should also consider a budget for the following: annual hosting and domain costs, technical support and maintenance costs to ensure the proper functioning of the site, and most importantly, the cost of digital marketing. Remember that building a store is just the first step; the real step is driving customers to it through SEO, online advertising, and social media. Ultimately, look at your storefront as a vital investment, not an expense. A professional and efficient online storefront can become your primary source of income and provide a tremendous return on investment, while a cheap and weak site will only waste your money and time.

1. Definition of a “ready-made site” and its mechanism

Definition of a “ready-made site” and its mechanism
(خريد سايت آماده)
Buying a ready-made site means getting a website that has been designed and developed in advance and you simply put your content on it. In this method, instead of building a site from scratch, pre-made templates are used. These templates are usually installed on popular content management systems such as WordPress. The best analogy for this process is buying a pre-made house; you choose the basic plan and structure and then fill it with your desired furniture and paint, but you cannot change the location of the walls or rooms. The company or individual who sells you the ready-made site actually performs the process of installing, setting up, and replacing the sample content with your own content.

The purchase process and what you get

The process of purchasing a ready-made website is usually very quick and simple. You first choose the design that best suits your taste and business from among several demos (online samples) offered by the seller. After making your selection, you deliver your content (texts, logo, images and contact information) to the seller. Then, the seller:

Installs the selected template on your host.
Replaces the template's sample content with your content.
Makes initial settings such as connecting to social networks and a contact form.
Finally, in a very short time (often a few days), you receive a live, online website that looks exactly like the demo you chose.

Main advantages of buying a ready-made website

This method is very popular for certain reasons, especially for starting out:

Very fast: You can have a complete website in less than a week. This is a big advantage for businesses that want to get to market quickly.
Very low initial cost: Since there is no time and expertise spent on custom design and coding, the final cost is much lower than a dedicated or even semi-custom site.
Definitive preview: You know exactly what your final website will look like before you pay. There are no ambiguities or surprises about the appearance of the site (What you see is what you get).
This option is suitable for small businesses, personal blogs, or those who have a very limited budget and just need an initial online presence.

Hidden disadvantages and serious dangers of ready-made sites

Despite the initial advantages, ready-made sites have major disadvantages that can harm your business in the long run:

Repetitive appearance and lack of originality: Thousands of other websites use the same template as you. This makes your brand not unique and does not remain in the minds of the audience.
Heavy codes and slow speed: In order to suit all tastes, ready-made templates are full of unnecessary codes and features (Bloatware) that cause the site to slow down significantly. Slow speed both drives away users and seriously damages your SEO ranking in Google.
Severe limitations in development: You are imprisoned in the template structure. If you want to create a special feature or make a structural change to the site in the future, you will often face technical limitations.
Security Issues: The templates and plugins used in ready-made sites (especially if they are nulled or cheap) can have security holes and leave your site vulnerable to hacking.
Ultimately, a ready-made site is a short-term solution, not a long-term investment. For any business looking for sustainable growth, strong branding, and optimal performance, sooner or later there will be a need to redesign and build a professional and principled site.

A Complete Guide to Buying Your Domain Name and Web Hosting

A Complete Guide to Buying Your Domain Name and Web Hosting
Creating a website starts with two essential building blocks: a domain name (your website's address, like ) and web hosting خرید هاست(the service that stores your website's files and makes them accessible online).
Think of it like this: your domain name is your house's street address, and web hosting is the plot of land where you build your house. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to purchase them correctly.

Part 1: Understanding Domain Names and Web Hosting
What is a Domain Name?
A domain name is the unique address people type into their browser to find your website. A good domain name should be:
Memorable: Easy for people to remember.
Short: Shorter names are easier to type and share.
Relevant: It should relate to your brand, name, or business.
Easy to Spell: Avoid complex words, hyphens, or numbers if possible.

The most popular domain extension is .com, but there are many others like .net, .org, and newer ones like .io or .store. For a business, .com is almost always the best choice if it's available.
What is Web Hosting?
Web hosting is a service that rents you space on a powerful computer called a server. This server stores all your website's files (text, images, code) and is connected to the internet 24/7. When someone visits your domain name, their browser connects to your server, which then delivers your website's content.
There are different types of hosting, but for beginners, the most common is Shared Hosting.
Shared Hosting: This is the most affordable option. You share a server's resources (like memory and processing power) with many other websites. It's perfect for new websites, blogs, and small businesses that don't have a lot of traffic yet.

Part 2: The Two Main Methods for Buying
There are two primary ways to buy your domain and hosting.
Method 1: Buy Domain and Hosting Together (The Bundled Approach)
This is the easiest and most recommended method for beginners. You purchase both your domain name and your hosting plan from the same company.
How it Works:
You choose a hosting provider (like Hostinger, Bluehost, or SiteGround).
During the sign-up process for a hosting plan, the company will offer you a free domain name for the first year.
You complete the purchase, and your domain is automatically connected to your hosting account.

Pros:
Simplicity: Everything is in one place, managed under one account.
Cost-Effective: You get a free domain for the first year.
Easy Setup: No technical configuration is needed to link your domain and hosting.

Cons:
Transferring your domain to another company later can sometimes be a bit more complicated (but it is always possible).

Method 2: Buy Domain and Hosting Separately
In this method, you buy your domain name from one company (a domain registrar like Namecheap or Google Domains) and your hosting from a different company.
How it Works:
You buy and register your domain name at a domain registrar.
You purchase a hosting plan from a separate web hosting company.
You then need to manually connect your domain to your hosting by changing the "nameservers" in your domain registrar's settings. Your hosting company will provide you with the nameserver addresses you need.

Pros:
Flexibility: You have the freedom to choose the best registrar and the best host independently.
Centralized Domain Management: If you own many domains, keeping them all at one registrar can be easier to manage.

Cons:
More Technical: Requires an extra step of changing nameservers.
No Free Domain: You have to pay for your domain separately.

Part 3: A Step-by-Step Guide to Buying (Using the Bundled Method)
Let's walk through the most common process for a beginner.
Step 1: Choose a Reputable Hosting Provider
Do some research and choose a well-known provider. Look for:
Good Reviews: What do other customers say about their speed and support?
24/7 Customer Support: Essential for when you run into problems.
A Free SSL Certificate: This is a must-have for security (it gives you https and the padlock icon). Good hosts include this for free.
Clear Pricing: Look at both the introductory price and the renewal price, as the renewal price is often higher.

Step 2: Select Your Hosting Plan
Most providers offer several tiers of shared hosting. A basic or entry-level plan is usually enough to start. Select the plan and choose a billing cycle (paying for a year or more upfront is usually cheaper).
Step 3: Register Your Free Domain
You will now be prompted to claim your domain.
Use the search bar to see if your desired domain name is available.
If it's taken, try variations or a different extension.
Once you find an available name, select it to add it to your cart.

Step 4: Review Your Order and Optional Add-ons
During checkout, you will be offered several add-ons. Here's what they mean:
Domain Privacy / WHOIS Protection (Recommended): When you register a domain, your personal information (name, email, address) is made public. This service hides your information and replaces it with the provider's. It's highly recommended to prevent spam and protect your privacy.
Automated Backups: Automatically saves copies of your website. This is very useful but sometimes included for free.
Security Tools (e.g., SiteLock): Scans your site for malware. This is optional, as you can also add security later.

Decline any add-ons you don't need, but seriously consider Domain Privacy.
Step 5: Complete the Purchase
Enter your payment details and finalize the order. After payment, you will receive a welcome email with your login details for your hosting control panel (often called cPanel).
Congratulations! You now own your domain name and have a place to build your website.

For many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the idea of exporting can be daunting. It often conjures images of complex paperwork, enormous shipping containers, and high financial risks. While these challenges are real, the modern global economy has created new pathways that make exporting more accessible than ever. The key to making it possible isn’t having a massive budget, but adopting a smart, strategic, and step-by-step approach.

This guide breaks down how you can simplify the process and successfully take your business global.

Section 1: The Strategic Foundation — It Starts with a Plan, Not Paperwork
Before you even think about shipping or customs, the most critical step is building a solid strategy. This is where you can simplify the process by narrowing your focus.

Start Small, Think Niche:
Don’t try to sell to the entire world at once. The easiest way to begin is by identifying one or two promising markets. Instead of targeting a large, competitive country like the United States or China, consider smaller, underserved markets where your product might have a unique advantage.

How to Simplify: Conduct targeted research. Use online tools like Google Trends to see where your product type is being searched for. Look at social media trends in different countries. Analyze competitor websites to see where they are shipping to. Choose a market that has a cultural affinity for your product or a clear, unmet need.

Create a Simple Export Plan:
An export plan doesn’t need to be a 100-page document. It’s your roadmap. It should answer these basic questions:

Which product(s) will you export? Start with your best-seller or a product that requires minimal modification.
Who is your ideal customer in the target market?
What is your pricing strategy? (More on this below).
How will you market your product abroad? (e.g., social media, a local partner).
What is your budget and expected sales goal for the first year?
Having this simple plan prevents you from making reactive, costly decisions later.

Section 2: The Core Pillars of Simplified Exporting
Once you have a plan, you can tackle the operational side. The secret is to delegate complexity to experts and focus on what you do best: your product.

Pillar 1: Product Readiness — Is Your Product Fit for the World?
Before you ship, ensure your product is ready for its destination.

Compliance and Certification: Research the basic standards for your target market. For example, many electronics sold in Europe require a “CE” marking. Food products have strict labeling requirements. This information is often available for free on government trade websites.
Adaptation: Does your packaging need to be translated? Does the product itself need slight modifications? Simple, professional packaging can make a huge difference.
Pillar 2: Demystifying Logistics and Shipping — Your Most Important Partnership
This is often the most intimidating part, but it can be the easiest to solve. Do not try to manage international shipping yourself.

Find a Freight Forwarder: A freight forwarder is like a travel agent for your cargo. They are your single most valuable partner in simplifying exporting. Their job is to:
Find the best and most cost-effective shipping options (air or sea).
Handle the vast majority of the documentation.
Manage customs clearance at both ends.
Provide insurance for your shipment.
(صادرات آسان)
By hiring a good freight forwarder, you outsource the most complex part of the process to an expert for a reasonable fee.

Pillar 3: Getting Paid Safely and Pricing Correctly

Secure Payment Methods: The fear of not getting paid is a major barrier. For initial transactions, insist on secure payment terms.
Upfront Payment: The simplest method is a 50% upfront payment via bank wire transfer and the remaining 50% before the goods are dispatched.
Letters of Credit (L/C): More traditional and very secure, but also complex and costly. Better for larger, established deals.
Online Platforms: For smaller business-to-consumer (B2C) sales, platforms like PayPal or Stripe offer built-in seller protection.
Export Pricing: Your domestic price is not your export price. A simple formula is:
Your Product Cost + Your Desired Profit Margin + Exporting Costs
Exporting Costs include: international shipping, insurance, tariffs/duties in the target country, and any extra packaging. Your freight forwarder can help you estimate these costs.
Pillar 4: Mastering Customs and Documentation — Let the Experts Handle It
While you should understand the basic documents, your freight forwarder or a licensed customs broker will handle their preparation. The essential documents are:

Commercial Invoice: A bill for the goods, used to determine customs duties.
Packing List: Details the contents, weight, and dimensions of each package.
Bill of Lading (for sea) or Air Waybill (for air): The contract between you and the carrier.
Certificate of Origin: Certifies which country the goods were made in, which can affect tariffs.
Section 3: Leveraging Technology to Make Exporting Easy
In the 21st century, technology is your greatest ally.

E-commerce Platforms: Websites like Shopify and BigCommerce have powerful built-in tools for international sales. They can automatically calculate international shipping rates, handle different currencies, and even help with estimating taxes and duties.
Online Marketplaces: Platforms like Amazon Global Selling, Etsy, or specialized B2B marketplaces like Alibaba provide immediate access to a global customer base. They handle payments and often offer simplified logistics solutions.
Digital Marketing: You no longer need a physical presence to find customers. Use targeted social media ads (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to reach potential buyers in your chosen market at a very low cost.
Conclusion: The New Mindset for Exporting
Making exporting possible is no longer about having immense resources. It is about being strategic, informed, and willing to build the right partnerships. The simplified path to exporting looks like this:

Start with a focused plan for a specific product and market.
Partner with a freight forwarder to handle the complexities of shipping and customs.
Use modern technology and e-commerce to find customers and manage sales.
Insist on secure payment terms to protect your business.
By breaking the process down into these manageable steps, any determined business can overcome the traditional barriers and unlock the immense growth opportunities waiting in the global marketplace.

Step 1: Create Your Design
You use tools in CorelDRAW to draw precise shapes, lines, and text. Think of it like digital drawing. You can create circles, squares, logos, or intricate patterns.

The important thing is that these are vector graphics. This just means they are made of perfect lines and curves, which is exactly what a laser cutter needs to make clean, accurate cuts.

Step-2: “Color (کورل )Code” Your Instructions
This is the most important part. You use specific colors to tell the laser machine what to do:

To CUT: You typically draw a very thin line (called a “hairline”) in bright red. When the laser machine sees this red line, it knows it must cut all the way through the material (like wood, acrylic, or paper).
To ENGRAVE (or Etch): If you want to burn a design onto the surface without cutting through, you fill a shape or text with the color black. When the laser sees a black area, it knows to shade or etch that part of the design.
Step 3: Save and Send to the Laser
Once your design is finished with the correct red lines for cutting and black areas for engraving, you save the file in a format the laser machine understands (like DXF, AI, or SVG).

A Detailed Guide to Designing for Laser Cutting with CorelDRAW
The Core Concept: Vector vs. Raster Graphics

This is the most important idea to understand.

Vector Graphics (Your Blueprint): These are designs made of mathematical lines, curves, and points. They can be scaled to any size without losing quality. Laser cutters need vectors because they follow these lines perfectly to make clean cuts. CorelDRAW is a vector design program.
Raster Graphics (Like a Photo): These are images made of tiny dots (pixels), like a digital photograph. They are great for detailed images but are not precise enough for cutting. Laser cutters use raster images for engraving (etching), not cutting.
So, in CorelDRAW, we use vector lines for cutting and raster-like fills for engraving.

The Detailed Workflow: From Screen to Physical Object
Here is the step-by-step process you’ll follow in CorelDRAW.

Step 1: Setting Up Your Document Correctly

Before you start drawing, you need to prepare your digital canvas.

Page Size: Set the document size to match the dimensions of your material (e.g., a 12x24 inch piece of plywood) or the size of the laser cutter’s bed. This helps you visualize the final product.
Color Mode: This is critical. You must set your document’s primary color mode to RGB. Laser cutter software (drivers) is designed to recognize specific RGB color values to trigger different actions (cut, engrave, etc.). Using CMYK will not work correctly.
Units: Set your measurement units to either millimeters (mm) or inches (in), depending on what you’re comfortable with and what the laser machine uses.
Step 2: Designing with Specific Actions in Mind
Every line and shape you draw is an instruction for the laser. There are three main commands you can give.

A) For Cutting (Vector Cut)
What it does: The laser fires a continuous, powerful beam to slice completely through the material.
How to do it in CorelDRAW:
Draw your shape or line.
Set the line thickness to the thinnest possible option, which is called “Hairline.”
Set the line color to pure RGB Red (R: 255, G: 0, B: 0).
The laser driver is programmed to see a “Red Hairline” and interpret it as a “CUT” command.
B) For Engraving (Raster Engrave)
What it does: The laser moves back and forth like an inkjet printer, firing its beam in short bursts to burn the design onto the surface of the material. It does not cut through.
How to do it in CorelDRAW:
Draw a shape (like a circle or text) and fill it with color.
Set the fill color to pure RGB Black (R: 0, G: 0, B: 0).
Set the outline of the shape to “None.”
The laser driver sees the “Black Fill” and knows to perform a raster engraving. (Note: Different shades of gray can sometimes be used to create different depths of engraving, but pure black is the standard for a solid etch).
C) For Scoring (Vector Engrave)
What it does: This is a light, quick cut on the surface. It’s not deep enough to cut through but is deeper than an engraving. It’s perfect for drawing thin lines or folding lines on paper.
How to do it in CorelDRAW:
This is similar to cutting. Draw your line.
Set the line thickness to “Hairline.”
Set the line color to a different color, usually pure RGB Blue (R: 0, G: 0, B: 255).
The laser driver sees a “Blue Hairline” and knows to perform a low-power vector cut (a score).
Step 3: Final Checks — Preparing Your File for the Machine
Before saving, you must “clean up” your file to avoid errors.

Convert Text to Curves (Ctrl + Q): The computer connected to the laser cutter probably doesn’t have your specific font installed. To fix this, you must convert all text into shapes (curves). This freezes the text so it can’t be edited but ensures it looks exactly as you designed it.
Check for Double Lines: If you have two lines directly on top of each other, the laser will cut the same path twice. This can burn your material and ruin the project. Zoom in and delete any duplicates.
Weld and Combine Shapes: If you have multiple shapes that overlap and you want them to be one single outline, use the Weld tool. This merges them into one clean shape, creating a single cutting path.
Ensure No Fills on Cut Lines: A red hairline for cutting should have no fill color. It should only be an outline.
Step 4: Exporting the File
Once your design is perfect, you save it in a format the laser software understands. Common formats are:

DXF (Drawing Exchange Format)
AI (Adobe Illustrator)
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
PDF (Portable Document Format)
You then open this file in the laser cutter’s own software, where you will assign power and speed settings based on your material (e.g., “Wood — 3mm thick”). Then, you hit “Print,” and the laser brings your CorelDRAW design to life!

Quick Reference Summary
Document Mode: RGB
To Cut: Red (R:255, G:0, B:0) — Hairline Thickness
To Engrave: Black (R:0, G:0, B:0) — Solid Fill
To Score: Blue (R:0, G:0, B:255) — Hairline Thickness
Final Step: Always convert text to curves (Ctrl+Q) before saving
