As an Information Technology student, I have always believed that the best way to master technology is by building solutions that solve real-world problems. Over the past few semesters, my journey has taken me from cloud data warehousing deep dives to competitive hackathons, AI-driven healthcare tools, and modern retrieval systems.
Here is a look at some of the major milestones, competitive hackathons, and projects that have shaped my technical journey so far.

Winning 3rd Place at the Salesforce Powercamp Hackathon.

One of my most rewarding experiences was competing in the Salesforce Students Club Hackathon against more than 50 participants. As the Lead Developer, I built the Campus Bus Tracker, a real-time tracking system integrated with an automated AI Agent. By leveraging Salesforce, I implemented automated flows to handle real-time data ingestion and processing, mimicking distributed system message patterns to keep tracking accurate and efficient. Securing 3rd Place was a huge validation of our team's architectural approach and execution!

Expanding Horizons: Pragyan '26 & Smart India Hackathon.

Beyond the Salesforce Powercamp win, participating in national and departmental hackathons has been central to sharpening my problem-solving ability:

National Level AI Hackathon (Pragyan '26, NIT Trichy): Represented my institution at the prestigious national-level hackathon hosted by NIT Tiruchirappalli, collaborating under tight deadlines to tackle complex AI problem statements.

Intra-Department Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2025): Participated in the SIH internal hackathon round, presenting tech-driven solutions designed to address large-scale societal and institutional challenges.

Deepening Cloud Data Foundations with Snowflake.

Data infrastructure plays a crucial role in modern software systems. To strengthen my foundation in cloud data architectures, I completed an intensive 6-Day Hands-on Snowflake Workshop. Through practical labs and assessments, I gained direct experience with core cloud data warehousing concepts, schema optimization, and data management on the Snowflake platform.

OptiStay AI: Clinical Decision Support System.

During my 4th semester, I developed OptiStay AI, a machine learning project designed to optimize hospital operational efficiency by predicting patient Length of Stay (LOS).

The Pipeline: Designed a comprehensive four-stage ML pipeline using Python, feature engineering with One-Hot Encoding for medical comorbidities, and a Random Forest Regressor.

The Impact: The model provides actionable insights for predictive discharge planning, directly helping reduce emergency room wait times and improve bed allocation.

Deployment: Evaluated using metrics like MAE, R^2 Score, and RMSE, and deployed as an interactive application using Streamlit.

What I’m Building Now: AI-Powered GitHub Knowledge Assistant.

Currently, I am working on an AI-Powered GitHub Knowledge Assistant. The goal of this project is to make navigating complex codebases and technical documentation seamless. Using Python, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), the assistant indexes repository code to provide automated context retrieval, precise semantic search, and instant query answers for developers.

Hardware Meets Software: Low-Level Systems & Robotics.

Beyond cloud and AI, my interest extends into low-level systems and embedded software:

Microcontroller Programming: During my industrial practical training at Sunshiv Electronic Solutions, I programmed PIC microcontrollers for robotics, focusing on I/O ports, Timers, ADC, and PCB design. This hardware background gives me a grounded understanding of low-level memory constraints and data transfer protocols.

Robotics & Automation: Through hands-on training with AndroidBot robotics at Genesis EduTech, I developed logic-driven bot control systems and earned a Letter of Recommendation for technical leadership in high-pressure team settings.
