My office is a big open floor plan, there's lots of chatter on Slack and in person, and of course there's a flood of articles, forums, blogs, podcasts, tweets, and online learning platforms to distract myself with - and that's just the content that's web development related! My team has relatively few meetings, and I have no desk phone. </p> <p>I love my job and I love my work environment, but sometimes I feel like a kid in a candy store who can't settle down and concentrate when needed.
