Building an Engineer, One Connection at a Time

_**Why I started SolderFlow and the journey I'm choosing to document**
_
Like many students in India, I didn’t enter engineering with a clear path. I ended up in Electronics and Communication Engineering because of circumstances, not because it had always been my dream.

When I joined ECE, I wasn't excited—I felt lost.

I didn't know what I wanted to specialize in, what skills I should learn, or even whether this was the right place for me. It was uncomfortable trying to adjust to a field I had never imagined myself pursuing.

The more I searched, the more I realized I wasn't the only one asking these questions. Thousands of ECE students were looking for the same answers.

There were incredible engineers with years of experience, impressive projects, and exceptional achievements. But for someone standing at the starting line, one question still felt unanswered:

"Where do I begin?"

That's when I stopped searching for the perfect roadmap and decided to start creating my own.

When we first start learning, everything feels like scattered dots.

A lecture here.
A failed project there.
A new programming language.
An Arduino board sitting on the desk.

Individually, they don't seem to mean much.
But when you start connecting them, the picture slowly begins to reveal itself.

That realization became the foundation of SolderFlow.

In electronics, solder connects individual components into something meaningful. I believe becoming an engineer works the same way.

Every project, mistake, late-night debugging session, and new concept is another connection, and together they slowly build the engineer you're becoming.

I realized I didn't have to wait until I had everything figured out to start sharing that journey.

SolderFlow isn't written by someone who has all the answers,
It's written by someone who's still learning, still building, and choosing to document that journey honestly.

Over the next four years, I'll document everything that shapes this journey—the projects I build, the mistakes I make, the concepts I finally understand, the hackathons I join, and the lessons I wish someone had told me sooner.

Maybe some of those experiences will become the connection someone else needs to move forward.

That's the purpose of SolderFlow.

Not to offer shortcuts or claim there's one perfect roadmap, but to help connect the scattered pieces of an engineering journey through real learning, real projects, real failures, and real growth.

If someone discovers SolderFlow while feeling as confused as I once did, I hope they leave believing that engineering isn't about knowing everything.

Whether you're an ECE student, someone curious about technology, or simply figuring out where to begin, I hope SolderFlow becomes a place that helps you connect the dots.

Because it’s about making one meaningful connection after another.

And this is the first connection.
Welcome to SolderFlow.
