I Built WebStore – A Platform for Developers to Showcase and Discover Web Projects

Hi everyone! 👋

Over the past few months, I've been building WebStore, a platform where developers can showcase their websites, discover projects from other developers, and receive community feedback.

 Why I Built It

I noticed that developers often share their projects across different platforms, making them difficult to discover in one place. I wanted to create a dedicated platform focused entirely on web projects.

 Features

🌐 Website showcase

👨‍💻 Developer profiles

⭐ Reviews and ratings

❤️ Wishlist

🔍 Search and filtering

🔔 Notification system

📊 Developer dashboard

🛡️ Admin approval workflow

 Tech Stack

React

Node.js

Express.js

MongoDB

 Challenges

Some of the interesting challenges I worked on included:

Designing role-based authentication

Building an admin moderation workflow

Creating a notification system

Optimizing search and filtering

Developing responsive user interfaces

Managing relationships between users, developers, and websites

 What I Learned

Building WebStore taught me a lot about:

Full-stack application architecture

Secure authentication and authorization

Database design

API development

State management

UI/UX improvements

Performance optimization

 Try It Out

🌐 WebStore
https://www.webstore.sg247.dev

I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for reading! 🚀
