I was feeling burned out and I knew I needed to get a new job.</p> <p>So I started applying and in November of 2018, I accepted a remote job working on an entirely different system and using entirely different technology. Frankly it's been a godsend!</p> <p>It's given me the structure I desired and, most importantly, the mental space to work on personal projects in my free time and rediscover why I'm in Tech to begin with because I enjoy creating things with code.</p> <h2> I deserve credit for... </h2> <ul> <li>Quitting a bad job?</li> <li>Starting to interact with, instead of just lurking in, a community</li> </ul> <h2> I hope to see my tech community... </h2> <p>Grow.
