Hello everyone. I want to introduce you to a simple yet effective day-to-day solution for the exact conversion of rich text to plain text. Traditional converters do not maintain the ordered/unordered list style when converting. This leads to some scrambled text to maintain.

This docs-to-plain-text will 100% keep your formatting. It has two modes: Paste and Upload. Everything happens in your browser. Your file is not uploaded to a server.

For the above rich text, the exact plain text would look like

 Try it out here.

Exactly convert the Docs text to plain text

Regular converters do not preserve the exact formatting when converting from a doc file to plain text.
This site preserves the exact formatting of your text. For example, Image-1 is the text you want to convert to plain text. Image-2 is the converted text. You can upload a .docx file too. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
