What I’m Building at the Intersection of Cybersecurity and Practical Software

I am Curtis Loop, a cybersecurity student and software product builder at San
Bernardino Valley College. I build practical tools for Windows, Android, Wear
OS, and browser workflows, with a strong focus on privacy, evidence, and human
control.

My work sits at the intersection of cybersecurity and product engineering. I
care about whether a feature works, but I also care about what data it touches,
how access is controlled, how a release is verified, and whether a public claim
is supported by evidence.

 What I am building

My current project catalog includes:

Creator Studios / VEdit-AI, a local-first creative production platform.

Manuscript, a privacy-conscious writing and dictation assistant for
Windows and Android.

DreamSync, an Android and Wear OS research prototype with conservative,
non-medical framing.

Vine Helper, an Android workflow assistant.

Chrome Reader, a browser extension focused on reading, voice, and
transcript workflows.

AI Brain, a local evidence, memory, recovery, and operations system.

BrickBlast, a public game project available on GitHub.

Most of these repositories remain private. I describe them publicly without
exposing private source code, credentials, internal testing links, or
unfinished work as if it were a released product.

Security is part of the product

My cybersecurity studies influence how I build software. I think about privacy
boundaries, authentication, release integrity, recovery, dependency risk, and
the difference between a local test and a publicly verified result.

That distinction matters. A successful local build does not automatically
prove that an application works on every device or that a release is publicly
available. I document those boundaries so that progress is useful without
becoming misleading.

My evidence-supported skills include cybersecurity fundamentals, Python,
Android and Windows development, browser extensions, log analysis, network and
traffic analysis, operating systems, and open-source intelligence.

 Leadership and community

Alongside my technical work, I serve as:

President of the SBVC Cybersecurity Club.

President and Founder of the SBVC eSports Club.

Treasurer of the SBVC WiCyS Chapter.

These roles include coordinating meetings, working with faculty and Student
Life, supporting club operations, and helping organize shared resources and
activities.

 Verified recognition

My public evidence includes:

Dean’s List — Highest Honors for Fall 2025.

Dean’s List — Highest Honors for Spring 2026.

Cisco Introduction to Cybersecurity.

Second Place, College Division, in the 2026 Inland Empire Mayors Cyber Cup.

I keep issuer-backed credential links separate from private academic and
account-recovery records.

 Where to see the work

My public portfolio brings these projects, credentials, honors, leadership
roles, and professional profiles together:

Curtis Loop — Cybersecurity and Software Product Builder

You can also find my public code and profile README on
GitHub, my verified credentials through
Accredible and
Credly, and project demonstrations
on CR Studios.

I am continuing to build at the intersection of security-minded engineering,
applied AI, accessibility, and practical product development.
