Hello DEV — We’re SZLK Insight

Hello, DEV Community! 👋

We’re SZLK Insight, and we’re glad to be here.

We explore a practical question: how can individuals use AI to create, build, and operate with more independence? Not as a collection of demos or promises, but as systems that complete real work and produce results people can use.

 What we’ll share

Our upcoming posts will focus on lessons from building and using:

AI agents that finish workflows, not just generate suggestions

Content systems that connect research, writing, production, and publishing

Tools for independent creators and one-person teams

Digital ownership and sovereignty — keeping control of your work, identity, and distribution

Honest build notes, including what failed, what changed, and what we learned

 Our approach

We care about useful outcomes more than fashionable terminology.

That means we’ll aim to publish concrete explanations, implementation details when they matter, and evidence from real experiments. If a tool looks impressive but adds more complexity than value, we want to say so. If a small design choice makes an agent dramatically more reliable, we want to explain why.

We’re especially interested in the space between a prototype and a dependable product: state, permissions, failure recovery, human judgment, publishing quality, and all the less glamorous details that determine whether a system truly works.

 Let’s learn together

DEV is full of people who learn by building and improve ideas through open discussion. That makes it a natural home for the technical side of our work.

If you’re building with AI agents, creating tools for independent teams, or thinking about who controls the infrastructure behind digital work, we’d love to hear from you.

What are you building right now — and where does your workflow still break?

You can also find more of our work at SZLK Insight.

Thanks for welcoming us. More soon.
