I work on backend systems, mostly payment infrastructure — integrating with payment
partners, handling things like a single HMAC signature or one reconciliation line
that looks small but isn't. Get it wrong and it's not a typo, it's real money gone.

A lot of that work happens alongside AI now. It writes code faster than I do. But it
doesn't know how a specific PSP actually behaves in production until it breaks —
usually at the worst time, while the next feature is already due. That part is
still mine.

This isn't a place where I play industry expert — I'm not, and that's not the point.
It's where I write down what's actually true: what I understand, what I don't, and
the parts I still check by hand no matter how confident the AI sounds.

If you're working at that same edge — using AI to move faster while still being the
one who answers for it when it breaks — some of this might be useful. No big
promises. Just writing it down, regularly, and seeing where it goes.
