One price change, two new models, 170+ funding rounds: TANDIU weekly data notes (Oct 19–25, 2026)

Each week we summarize what changed in the public data on TANDIU: LLM API list prices, AI funding rounds and GPU rental prices. Every number below comes from the site or its MCP server, as of October 26, 2026 (UTC+8).

1. LLM API list prices

We track 71 models now, up from 69 a week ago. Two were added, and one existing model changed its official list price.

Small moves in the USD figures for some Chinese models (Doubao, Step, Hunyuan) are exchange-rate effects; their RMB list prices did not change. USD/CNY moved from 6.6898 to 6.6744. Kimi K3 is now shown at its international USD list price ($3 / $15).

Where the range sits today:

Lowest: Hunyuan A13B at $0.075 / $0.30
Lowest from a US vendor: Claude Haiku 5.5 and GPT-6 Luna at $0.10 / $0.50
Highest: GPT-5.5 Pro and GPT-5.4 Pro at $30 / $180

Blended average per 1M tokens (3 parts input to 1 part output): US models ¥56.35, Chinese models ¥11.03. A week ago these were ¥56.48 and ¥10.79. The Chinese average rose mainly because Kimi K3.1 Pro was added, not because of price increases.

2. Price index

The TANDIU LLM price index (all tracked models, July 13, 2026 = 100) went from 104.83 on October 19 to 105.61 on October 26. That is +0.75% over 30 days. The median blended price is $2.00 per 1M tokens.

The index is a chain-linked geometric mean of price changes for models listed on consecutive days. Adding or retiring a model doesn't move it, and RMB-priced models with an unchanged RMB price count as unchanged. Almost all of this week's move came on October 20, the day of the Solar Pro 4 change.

3. "Good enough" models by score

The MCP tool cheapest_model_for_score answers questions like "which model reaches at least 90% of the top LiveBench 2.0 score for the lowest price?"

Top score: Claude Fable 5.1, 88.0 ($10 / $50)
90% threshold: 79.2. Ten models meet it.
Lowest blended price among them: DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, 79.2 at $0.30 / $1.20
Next, all at $2 / $10: GPT-6.1 Sol (85.4), Gemini 4 Argon (84.1), Claude Sonnet 5.5 (82.5), GPT-6 Sol (81.9)

4. AI funding

The funding tracker has over 170 records dated October 19–25: 66 in the US, 61 in China and 46 elsewhere. Each record links its sources. The largest equity rounds:

These are price ranges from public vast.ai listings, in USD per GPU-hour, with the change versus 7 days earlier.

TANDIU publishes daily AI infrastructure data: LLM API list prices, GPU rental prices, self-hosting costs, cloud agents and AI funding. It was built for AI from day one, so every page also exists as JSON, in llms.txt, and behind a remote MCP server that needs no API key.

This is the first weekly write-up. Every number below comes from the site's own data files for October 13 to 19, 2026, and you can check them yourself.

1. LLM API prices: a quiet week

The token market page tracks official API list prices for 69 models from US, Chinese and other vendors.

No vendor changed an official list price this week.
Chinese models are priced in RMB, so their USD figures moved only with the exchange rate (USD/CNY went from 6.6992 on Oct 15 to 6.6898 on Oct 19).
Blended average per 1M tokens: US models ¥56.48, Chinese models ¥10.79, roughly 5.2 times apart.

DeepSeek V4.1 Flash got a lot of attention on X this weekend. At list price its input tokens cost about 1/13 of Claude Opus 5.5's, and its output tokens about 1/17.

2. AI funding: over 150 records in one week

The funding tracker logs one record per financing round, with amounts, valuations and investors only as the source reports state them, plus links to the original articles. It holds over 150 records dated October 13 to 19. A few of them:

Ramp: $1.85B Series G at a $60B valuation (Reuters and others).
ICON: $200M Series D.
Suanmiao Technology (AI chips): nearly ¥2B across its Pre-A2 and A rounds within a year (Caixin).

Approximate amounts such as "nearly ¥2B" stay approximate in the data and are not rounded into precise figures.

3. For agents: how to read this data directly

The point of TANDIU is that an AI agent should not have to scrape a page built for humans. Use these instead:
