From an idea in my head to a fully designed experience, CareHaven is finally taking shape! I’ve spent countless hours thinking through every click, every screen, and every user interaction to make sure caregivers have a smooth, intuitive, and stress-free experience. And now, I can’t wait to show you how it all comes together!

From Sign-Up to Seamless Care
The moment you sign up, CareHaven guides you effortlessly through onboarding. Whether you're a professional caregiver, a family member, or a parent of a special needs child, our AI understands your role and customizes your experience accordingly.

Customizable Dashboards & Screens
I know that caregiving isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey, so I made sure that you can personalize your dashboard and screens to fit your specific needs. Whether it’s tracking medication schedules, setting up emergency contacts, or managing multiple care recipients; you get to choose what matters most to you.

Your Privacy Matters
I deeply understand the sensitivity of the information caregivers manage. That’s why we’ve built a transparent policy agreement right into the sign-up process. Before you even get started, you’ll have the chance to read and understand how your data is handled;so you can feel confident and secure every step of the way.

Another week, another milestone! To everyone who’s been following my journey, THANK YOU! Your engagement, feedback, and encouragement mean the world. Last week, we dove into user and use case prioritization, and now it’s time to take the next big step—my first Product Requirements Document (PRD) for CareHaven!

 What is CareHaven?

For those new here, CareHaven is my AI-driven caregiving platform designed to improve the lives of elderly individuals, disabled people, and children with special needs. It’s built to address medication mismanagement, caregiver training gaps, social isolation, and the lack of real-time emergency support—all through the power of AI.

Writing My First PRD: Where Strategy Meets Execution

Creating this PRD was an intense yet rewarding experience. This is where ideas get structured, where every feature has a purpose, and where product goals align with user needs. Here’s a quick breakdown:

The Problem We’re Solving

Caregivers face major challenges that impact the quality of care they provide. These include:

Medication mismanagement (missed doses, incorrect prescriptions, lack of reminders).

Limited real-time support (caregivers not having immediate access to medical guidance in emergencies).

Caregiver training gaps (inadequate preparation, lack of mental health support).

Social isolation and stigmatization (especially for disabled individuals and special needs children).

Goals of CareHaven

Enhance caregiving efficiency through AI-driven tools.

Provide real-time emergency support via AI-powered chatbots.

Improve medication adherence through tracking and smart reminders.

Build a supportive caregiving community via AI-driven engagement.

Offer scalable training to help caregivers provide top-tier support.

Who Are We Helping?

CareHaven is designed for:

Professional Caregivers who need real-time support.

Family Caregivers managing loved ones’ health.

Parents of Special Needs Children looking for inclusive solutions.

Caregiving Agencies aiming to improve staff training.

Elderly Individuals who need better health monitoring.

Key Features
AI Chatbot for Emergency Support – Provides real-time medical guidance.

Medication Management System – Tracks prescriptions, sends reminders, and alerts caregivers.

AI-Powered Caregiver Training – Interactive learning modules for skill development.

Community Engagement Tools – Social forums, activity recommendations, and support groups.
Health Monitoring & Wearable Integration – Helps detect early warning signs and prevents health risks.

Challenges I Faced Writing My First PRD
Writing this PRD wasn’t a walk in the park. Here are some of the biggest challenges I faced:

Structuring the document properly – I had to learn how to logically arrange the problem, goals, and features without overwhelming the reader.

Fighting the urge for perfection – I wanted everything to be perfect, but I realized that product management is all about continuous iteration and refinement.

Scoping the MVP correctly – It was tempting to add too many features at once, but I had to focus on what truly mattered for the first version.

Ensuring clarity for all stakeholders – Writing a PRD isn’t just about listing features; it’s about making sure developers, designers, and business teams all understand the vision.

Through this process, I’ve learned that done is better than perfect, and iteration is the key to great product management.

Measuring Success

Reduced Medication Errors – By ensuring adherence through AI tracking.

Faster Emergency Responses – By equipping caregivers with real-time AI assistance.

Higher Caregiver Satisfaction – Measured through training completion and engagement rates.

Increased Community Participation – More active discussions and shared experiences within the platform.

What’s Next?
With my PRD drafted, the next step is bringing it to life visually! I’ll be building my first wireframes and mockups—and the exciting part? I’ll be using AI-powered design tools to make the process smoother and faster. Can’t wait to share that journey with you all next week!

Here is the link to my PRD/Spec; feel free is go through and tell me what you think in the comment section.(https://docs.google.com/document/d/1648LRNBW62LcA6PwG_Jt9XcgAVm4Sah5/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=111814567717102396409&rtpof=true&sd=true)

To everyone who’s been on this journey with me—you make this even more exciting! Drop your thoughts, feedback, or just say hi in the comments. Let’s build something incredible together!

Hey everyone! First off, a massive shoutout to DTTP for the incredible opportunity to learn and grow! This journey has been nothing short of amazing, and I’m beyond grateful for the knowledge and experience I’m gaining. Also, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s been following my content nonstop—you all keep me going, and I appreciate every comment, share, and word of encouragement! ❤️

Welcome to week 3 of building in public with me and if this is your first time, Do well to catch the tea from my previous posts. Now, let’s continue building our product and this week we are jumping into an area that excites me: User and Use Case Prioritization. I’m at the stage where I need to be crystal clear about who my product is serving and what problems it should solve first. Because let’s face it—when building a product, especially one powered by AI, you can’t solve everything at once. Prioritization is key!

Understanding My Users
When I started defining my target audience, I quickly realized that my product—an AI-driven caregiving solution—serves multiple groups with different needs. Here’s who I identified as my core users:

Professional Caregivers – Nurses, care aides, and agency-employed caregivers who manage multiple patients and need tools to streamline care.

Family Caregivers – Parents of children with special needs or adults taking care of elderly parents, who often feel overwhelmed and need support.

Caregiving Agencies – Organizations looking to optimize caregiver efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and streamline operations.

With this, I created detailed user personas, ensuring I deeply understood their pain points, goals, and behaviors.

Mapping Out the Use Cases

Once I had my users locked in, the next challenge was figuring out which features would bring the most value right now. I started by listing all possible use cases and categorizing them based on who they benefit most:

Caregiver-Focused Use Cases: AI-driven medication management, emergency assistance chatbots, caregiver training modules, emotional support, and performance analytics for agencies.

Care Recipient-Focused Use Cases: Health monitoring, personalized activity recommendations, mobility assistance, and virtual companionship.

Community and Social Features: AI-powered forums, caregiver-patient matching, and inclusive event recommendations.

Operational and Agency Use Cases: AI-powered scheduling, compliance tracking, and data analytics.

How I Prioritized
With a long list of potential features, the next step was deciding what to focus on first. I used a prioritization matrix, scoring each feature based on:

Revenue Impact– Does this feature directly contribute to monetization or business growth?

User Satisfaction (CSAT)– How much does this feature improve the user experience?

Ease of Implementation– Can it be developed without massive technical hurdles?

Scalability– Will this feature continue to add value as the product grows?

The Winners: What I’m Focusing on First
After crunching the numbers and weighing the impact, these are the features I’ve prioritized for my initial launch:

Real-Time AI Chatbot for Emergency Assistance – Caregivers need immediate guidance in crises, and this feature reduces response time while boosting confidence.

AI-Driven Medication Management – Tracking and administering medications correctly is a huge challenge, so this feature will help prevent errors and improve adherence.

AI-Powered Caregiver Performance Insights for Agencies – Agencies need to optimize efficiency, and this tool will provide valuable data to improve caregiver effectiveness.

What’s Next?
With my priorities set, my next step is building and testing prototypes. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be refining these features, gathering user feedback, and adjusting my roadmap as needed.

I’d love to hear from you—have you ever struggled with prioritization when building a product? What frameworks or strategies worked best for you? Let’s chat in the comments!

Can’t wait to share my progress with you all soon!

Why AI in Healthcare? My Journey into Product Management and Caregiving Innovation 🤖❤️

Welcome to another week of spending 15 minutes with me! If you had told me ten years ago that I’d be knee-deep in AI Product Management today, I would have laughed. Back then, I was behind the mic, telling stories as a television and radio host. I thrived on connection — engaging with people, amplifying voices, and making complex ideas accessible. But life has a way of leading us to unexpected places. Today, I’m channeling that same passion into something deeply personal: leveraging AI to revolutionize caregiving for the elderly, disabled individuals, and children with special needs.

Why Healthcare? Why Caregiving?❤️
For me, this isn’t just a “cool AI project.” It’s about people. It’s about the caregivers stretched thin, the elderly battling loneliness, and the families of special needs children struggling to find the right support. Caregiving is one of the most human acts of love, yet it remains one of the most under-supported industries. If technology has the power to make lives easier, more dignified, and more joyful, why aren’t we using it more effectively?

My journey into caregiving AI started when I noticed a glaring problem — many caregiving companies were hiring staff with zero medical background, just to fill positions quickly. But the real issue? They weren’t training them properly. Caregivers were being thrown into high-stakes environments with little to no guidance, leading to critical mistakes in medication management, emotional support, and basic patient care. This wasn’t just a gap in the system; it was a crisis. And that’s one of my biggest whys.

AI in Healthcare:More Than Just a Trend🤖
Right now, AI is everywhere. We see AI-generated images, chatbots writing essays, and machine learning models predicting stock trends. But AI in healthcare isn’t just about being trendy — it’s about being transformative. Here’s how I see AI making a tangible difference in caregiving:

Medication Management: Imagine an AI system that ensures elderly patients never miss a dose and alerts caregivers before supplies run out. This isn’t just convenience — it’s life-saving.

Stigma-Free Community Building: AI can create platforms where caregivers, families, and individuals receiving care connect and share experiences, breaking down isolation. Think of it as a LinkedIn for caregiving, but with empathy at its core.

AI-Powered Caregiver Training: Not all caregivers receive proper training. AI-driven education can ensure caregivers are better equipped to provide high-quality support, from understanding medical conditions to managing emotional stress.

Real-Time Assistance: Care emergencies can happen anytime. AI can provide real-time guidance to caregivers, improving response times and outcomes. Imagine an AI assistant that walks a caregiver through administering CPR or managing a sudden allergic reaction.

The Road Ahead: Using AI to Drive Meaningful Change
This isn’t just about what I’m building — it’s about why I’m building it and how we can use AI responsibly to improve lives. To make this vision a reality, I’ve developed a research plan that focuses on three key areas:

Understanding the Pain Points: Conducting interviews with caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals to identify the most pressing challenges in caregiving.

Exploring AI Solutions: Evaluating existing AI tools and technologies to see how they can be adapted or improved for caregiving scenarios.

Ethical Considerations: Ensuring that any AI solution prioritizes privacy, consent, and inclusivity, especially for vulnerable populations.

If you’re curious about the details, I’ve attached my research plan below. It’s a living document, and I’d love your feedback on how we can refine it further.

Let’s Build Solutions That Matter
So here’s my invitation: spend a few minutes each week with me as we explore the intersection of AI, in various industries starting with healthcare, and real human impact. If you’ve ever been curious about AI in caregiving or wondered how we can create real change, you’re in the right place.

Let’s create solutions that matter. Let’s use AI for more than just the latest tech trend. Let’s make life better.

Hey Professional Stars! 👋

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my career has been anything but ordinary. For nearly a decade, I was the voice and face behind television and radio shows, telling stories, engaging audiences, and bringing conversations to life. But then, something changed — I felt the pull to do more, to build rather than just talk about things.

That pull led me to product marketing management, where I helped brands tell their stories in a different way — by creating products that people actually needed. And now? I’ve taken another thrilling leap into AI Product Management (thanks to DTTP! https://www.joincolab.io/), where I’m diving headfirst into research, strategy, and tech innovation.

Taking the Leap: From Storytelling to Strategy
If you’ve ever thought about making a career shift but felt stuck, trust me — I get it. Leaving behind a decade in media wasn’t easy. It meant stepping into the unknown, learning from scratch, and facing the impostor syndrome that comes with change. But here’s what I realized: every skill you’ve gained in one field can be leveraged in another. My ability to communicate, simplify complex ideas, and connect with people? Turns out, they’re just as valuable in tech as they were in media.

And now, I’m taking those skills into AI Product Management — merging my love for storytelling with my passion for building impactful solutions.

The Power of Reinvention💡
So why am I sharing this? Because if there’s one thing I want you to take away, it’s this: You don’t have to be “qualified” in the traditional sense to chase what excites you. If you have the curiosity, the willingness to learn, and the guts to bet on yourself, you can make the leap — whether it’s into tech, entrepreneurship, or something completely different.

The world is moving fast, and the barriers that once existed between industries are crumbling. The only thing holding you back is the belief that you’re not ready. Spoiler alert: You’ll never feel 100% ready. Do it anyway.

What’s Next? Let’s Build in Public! 🛠️
I’ve decided to build in public — sharing my AI research, product ideas, and learnings week after week. Not because I have all the answers (I definitely don’t), but because I believe in learning out loud and bringing others along for the ride.

So if you’ve ever thought about switching careers, learning something new, or just stepping out of your comfort zone, consider this your invitation. Let’s take bold steps together. Let’s ask questions, experiment, and grow in ways we never thought possible.

Drop a comment, share your thoughts, or even challenge my ideas — I’m here for all of it!

See you soon — and don’t forget things are just getting started!

Why Anticipating Future Challenges is Crucial in Web3 Product Management

As a product manager, one of the most exciting yet daunting aspects of building Web3 products is the immutable nature of blockchain. In Web3, once something is on the chain, it’s there for good — no turning back. This means that every decision, every feature, and every integration must be made with a level of foresight that goes beyond typical product management. You have to think ahead, far ahead.

Now, I know what you're thinking: "But predicting the future is impossible!" You're right, it’s not always about knowing exactly what will happen. It’s about preparing for all the "what-ifs." In Web3, there’s no easy way to undo a decision after it’s on-chain. If you miss a red flag or overlook a potential problem, it can become a permanent fixture in the product’s ecosystem.

This is where anticipating future problems becomes essential. As a product manager, your role shifts slightly from just building something that works to building something that works forever. I’ve learned, through trial and error, that Web3 product management requires a level of anticipation that you don’t typically encounter in Web2. It’s not enough to address present pain points — you have to predict future ones, even when the full landscape is still forming.

Think Through Every Angle

Sure, no one has a crystal ball, but here’s the thing: it’s all about asking the right questions. What problems could arise as the product scales? What regulatory changes might impact your solution in a year? What if a competitor figures out a way to provide a similar service but with a better tokenomics model? These are the types of questions that need to be asked at every stage of development.

You’ll need to go through your product’s pain points over and over again, tweaking, refining, and predicting how things might evolve as the Web3 space grows and matures. Just because something works well today doesn’t mean it will work tomorrow. If the product doesn’t address anticipated issues, it could become a liability rather than a tool.

A Mindset Shift: More Time for Analysis

Here’s what sets Web3 apart from Web2 in product management: the time you spend critically analyzing problems and solutions. This isn’t about “shipping fast and iterating” — Web3 forces you to slow down, think critically, and anticipate potential consequences of every move.

In a decentralized world, where control is distributed and your product might have millions of users or even thousands of validators, the stakes are higher. One misstep can have ripple effects that go beyond your user base. So, a key part of the Web3 product manager’s role is to ensure that the product’s decisions stand the test of time.

It's a fine balance of forward-thinking and adaptability. Anticipating what might go wrong means you can address it before it ever becomes a problem. And while that doesn’t guarantee you'll always be right (because, let’s face it, we’re all going to miss something), it gives you a fighting chance at steering your product clear of issues that could have been avoided with a bit more foresight.

In Conclusion

Managing a Web3 product is a lot like playing a game of chess — you don’t just think about your next move, you anticipate the board a few moves ahead. Every choice you make can have lasting consequences, and the ability to predict and prepare for potential future challenges is what sets apart the good product managers from the great ones.

So, embrace the unknown, ask the hard questions, and always be one step ahead. In the world of Web3, anticipating future problems is your best tool for building products that last.
