We're excited to announce the open-source release of platformgen — a meta-platform builder that uses AI to generate production platforms in days instead of months.

What Is platformgen?

platformgen is not another SaaS platform. It's a tool that builds platforms. Give it a description, and it generates:

Getting Started (5 Minutes)

Via Python venv (recommended):

git clone https://github.com/techno-vet/platformgen-py.git
cd platformgen-py
bash install.sh

This will:

Create a Python virtual environment
Install platformgen as an editable package
Add it to your PATH
Guide you through token setup

Then initialize:

auger init --token YOUR_GITHUB_COPILOT_TOKEN
auger start

Requires:

Python 3.10+
python3-tk system package (for UI)
X11 display (for desktop rendering)

Alternative: Docker:

bash scripts/auger-setup.sh

Handles X11, mounts, and token setup automatically.
