What is Chasen?
The matcha whisk originated from the Tang and Song Dynasties of China.
It was a kind of tea mixing tool for cooking tea in ancient times. It was made of thin bamboo silk tied into a bunch and added with a handle. It was shaped like a bamboo brush for "wok brush".
