Hi I am new here and also new to this idea of writing - so pardon me if i get off topic

I am a cybersecurity analyst working in soc operations based out of india and i am doing / learning security engineering to enhance my arsenal - Over the years i have tried to get into a lot of domains which as you can figure out was a bad idea - I wanted to get into Cybersec , be a cracked dev , a designer , a writer , a researcher and what not.

so now i will first get into a particular niche deep and then after i become quite confident in one , only then will i switch to next thing - because you gotta do it somehow apparently.

So , here is what i am diving for the next 6 months and thus for the remaining 2026 :

Backend engineering ( Python , go ) as most of the security tooling are written in these languages so gotta be good in it.

security engineering stuff ( Product security + devsecops )

time to ai X security ( Do LLM security - write ai /ml code )

now after i become proficient with this - then i can do fullstack at a deeper level to be able to build a system from scratch.
