Introduction

I remember it like it was yesterday, My first experience was full of wonder, excitement and nervous situations. I found myself as the only lady in the team members as we were eight. Through out the taskforce activities and fun moments, l would love to share my experience.

•What was your experience like to you, in your six weeks of involvement at the task force? Briefly share your gains, challenges and say.
My experience at the taskforce was remarkable to me in more ways than l could imagine and l boldly say that l am proud to have made the step of being part of this program. I met new faces and we become a great team, enjoyed fun moments, brainstorming and team playing together. I felt at home and taken valuable as the only lady around the taskforce, and l grew into being an advocate to all ladies passionate about It and tech field,to not only settle for less and the myth around, but to believe in ourselves to partake to making a difference in the society.

Further more, l gained essential key skills that are in need or in demand on the market level and productive Individually speaking. In concept, we learnt different soft skill set that include; project management, stereo types, self organization, critical thinking, design thinking as well as some technical skills as; use of Gitlab, react native and Agile Method more on the concept. They were very insightful and l thank God who strengthened me to grasp new technical skills that seemed tought at first.

Apart from the skills l gained, l got to have fun, shared memorable moments with the team members, got celebrated in this women's month and made friends that l found to be a very supportive environment to work along with.

I kept sharing how l met a great team and l have to show you our beautiful faces at last!

My dedication speech to my Forever team at the task force.

I appreciate your involvement, team work spirit and effort to achieving our dream goals together in a supportive manner. You are and we're the best team players l would have never asked for, and I would still choose to be part of you given the opportunity to choose a great team to work again! Thank you for the love, words of encouragement, harmonious working we shared along with. I would also like to appreciate highly for the CEO, facilitators and Leaders that were a ladder to our building to our objectives in any manner of support they provided for all of us in the task force. We thank you for choosing to invest in us for the great Leadership you demonstrated to us in numerous ways.

Conclusion

Let me conclude primarily thanking the source of my strength and doing all things who is God! Am proud that l chose to believe and believe in self to do great things through investing in me to the gain of many.

what experience and challenges, did you face in the fifth week at the taskforce?

My experience at the tasks force in a duration of a month and one week, was a reflection of an establishment of a team work atmosphere, and gaining more interesting skills and knowledge, that is a reliability to making a difference in the tech world in lack. I gained more experiences both soft and technical skills that l found to be enlightening.

Further more, we learnt about design thinking and self organization as soft skills that are relevant to a person's daily life skills that are used. We learnt as well in continuation of the technical skills react native subtopics, specifically in different terms which are context API which used whenever there is a need to change an app in light or dark mode, Database management that mostly deals with the how to storage data and Axios, which is used to fetch data. The new topic of programming language is new to me and a bit challenging to grasp however, with persistence and dedication to the course, positive results shall be given.

In my fifth week at the tasks force was full of new skills to study and learn about, as well as the team members partaking along while brainstorming and sharing moments together.

Elaborate on how your fourth week experience at the taskforce was to you?

This week was a remarkable week! It was a week that we celebrated happy women's day as a special event! My fellow team members shared memorable hug outs with me in appreciation of my being and most importantly, making the bold move of giving voice to what am passionate about which is IT.

Further more, this week we got to learn alot on different interesting topics specifically, time management. We gained knowledge on the terms; SMART and the 5 whys, that are practical soft skills in our daily life. We also proceeded more on programming language regarding react native, used in mobile application. We further learnt new topics that included routing, App localization, deepliking and forms. React native is a new programming language l had encountered however, with persistence and gaining understanding and knowledge , l will eventually grasp the concept and smoothly.

I sum up by saying, this week was an interesting week full of fun and a lot of learning as well.

TaskForce5.0 Week3 Experience

My third week overview, of my experiences at the task force lab.

In the third week at the taskforce, l would say that I was fully open into participations going on with the team oriented activities, built a strong bond with the taskforce team and getting to be honest with how l view my opinions, as well as verse versa with the team's opinions, towards reaching the objective we are all here for at the task force.

We looked at a new programming language called react native and a soft skill called culture awarenesses. I found them to be interesting topics, and gained a lot of knowledge to be used practically in our daily lives. What terms are they? Well, let's start defining them in a clear context to graspe.

A Programming language that lets the programmer express data processing in a symbolic manner without regard to machine-specific details. As for react native is an open-source UI software framework created by Meta Platforms, Inc.It is used to develop applications for Android TV, iOS, macOS,tvOS,Web,Windows and UWP by enabling developers to use the React framework along with native platform capabilities. It is also being used to develop virtual reality applications at Oculus. More detailed information is retrieved from the Wikipedia information reliable source at
"React Native - Wikipedia" (url:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/React_Native[])

As for culture awarenesses, I enjoyed the enlightenment and how interesting human beings we are! I got to learn different stereo types and general belief awareness in the society. This knowledge and soft skill, educated me of the essence of value of an individual, and how to avoid provoking conflict with an individual or society that is different from mine, and how to live in harmony with differences.

In my conclusion, l would say, my third week was more flexible than the previous weeks, full of new topics to dig in, be enlightened with essential knowledge regardless the challenge l faced of grasping a new programming language that l know that l will comprehend in time.

My Second week experience while in the taskforce 5.0 at CodeofAfrica and Awesomity lab.

what experience and challenges, did you face in the second week of the taskforce?

My second week in the taskforce to my experience, I was more comfortable and connected with the team, It was more smooth for me than l was in the first week.

However the challenges l faced in the second week was the introduction of a new course about Gitlab, DevOps, Documentation and we had an opportunity to learn soft skills with Hans(co-founder of Code of Africa) that l had no knowledge about, difficult to graspe and yet essential to know in the tech world.

These two terms Gitlab and DevOps can be described in definition as;
GitLab is an open source code repository and collaborative software development platform for large DevOps. As for Devops, it is the combination of software development and IT operation

Currently, I keep pressing on to gaining more understanding to the above terms and looking forward to grasping it regardless how it has been difficult within these session.

In summary, my second week was more relaxing, interactive and team playing than the previous week regardless the challenges of new courses that came off difficult and challenging so far but occasionally, l know I will finally gain the understanding of the course by the end of the session.__

Introduction

Am part of a taskforce that's uplifting, developing developers for better skills to be implemented for greater good. You may ask your self what a taskforce is? Well, isn't simply defined as a group of people who are temporary assigned to work together to achieve a very specific and clearly defined objective.

Awesomity lab is, the best opportunity l encountered for polishing more of my few skills l had as a developer into a skilled developer. More of my experience and gain will be shared in the below phases.

what was your experience in the first week of the taskforce like for you?

My first week experience at the taskforce team to me was more of being nervous and accepting the fact that l found to be the only girl in nine boys! However a time went by, l got to feel comfortable among them, gained a lot of skills like soft skills, project management etc. I also had the best working environment that's supportive, fun, partook on different hangouts, let's say l really appreciate the work ethic in my first week a to the taskforce.

As the only girl who attended this taskforce intern, what motivated to be part of this intern opportunity?

My motivation is simply a result of what am passionate about which is mobile application and l grew to want grow more of my skills regarding that area. Therefore when l saw the awesome opportunity to gain more skills, l didn't hesitate to take my chances and here l am.

As I include, joining the taskforce has been the best decision l made, l met great people, gain a lot of insights and skills in field. Can't wait for more of these experiences and other weeks as l gain more skills and knowledge
