I just started blogging (this time for real) a week ago, I am interested in configuring it for SEO.

I appreciate any suggestions or improvements from anyone with SEO experience 🙏 It is based on Hugo and I tried to tune it based on some online tutorials. Unfortunately, it gets pretty bad rating and needs improvements.

Your own Kubernetes cluster for < 15 euros?

Yes! you heard it right 15 euros, actually 14.38 if I am being pedantic.

I have been running my private Kubernetes cluster for a while now, this serves me as playground to test my skills and serve as a learning platform. As I get comfortable I started to move all my productivity apps to my cluster and optimize the deployment along the way.

      Here's my first blog post about my #Kubernetes  cluster running on @Hetzner_Online   @learnk8s #jugaad #baremetal 🙌 🥳
tckb.tgrthi.me/2020/cheap-k8s/

I have started a series Cheap Kubernetes Cluster on my personal blog to explain how I managed to setup applications including Password manager, Mail server, DNS Server(s) and other services in my cluster and managed to keep the full bill under 15 euro mark.

Like it? Did I spark an interest. If so, follow me to keep yourself updated on the follow up posts in this series. The more interest I see, the faster I will be able to create posts.

Making Plausible analytics ready for selfhosting

It has been more than few years since I have written any blog post or even made any meaningful contribution to an opensource project. Recently, I have stumbled across an opensource project, Plausible Analytics, that was centered around protecting user's privacy.

Since this is exactly what was I was searching before I started even blogging. I started exploring further and found that it has no support for docker-based hosting. Since this is my forte I started tweaking and lo and behold the project has now a Self Hosting capability.

        Plausible Analytics

        @plausiblehq

      Plausible Analytics Self-Hosted Beta is ready and we're looking for beta testers!

This is our free as in beer and free as in speech version.

Big thanks to @this_is_tckb for his great help and contribution to getting this released!

plausible.io/blog/self-host…

I recommend everyone who are still thinking to contribute to an opensource project to go ahead and make that first pull/merge request. It can't hurt! 🙌

Original blog post about the same can be found here https://tckb.tgrthi.me/plausible-analytics/
