🎯 POSTURE

While typing, keeping your hands in the proper position is important.

From the images below, you can see that the posture of both hands is incorrect—one wrist is too high, and the other is too low. This increases pressure on the wrist, restricting free movement and causing strain.

Ideally, your hand should be aligned with a straight wrist, which makes typing easier and improves speed.
Ensure that when viewed from above, your hand is aligned straight with your forearm.

Many of us tend to rest our wrists on a desk or flat surface for support, but this restricts hand movement across the keyboard.
Instead, get used to moving your hands freely in the air rather than relying on surface support.

🎯 POSITION

When typing, place the index fingers of both hands on two specific keys: F and J.

This row is known as the Home Row, which you should visualize as the centerline. When typing on the top or bottom rows, always return to the Home Row to maintain proper positioning.

--### 🎯 SIMPLIFY

Break down words into smaller chunks of 2-3 words as per your preference. Start by looking at and typing these smaller sections, then gradually increase the number of words to 5-7 as you improve.

Keep some upcoming words in mind before reaching the next chunk to maintain a smooth typing flow.

🎯 REPETITION

The more you practice, the better your muscle memory becomes, enhancing your ability to type without looking at the keyboard.

🎯 PATIENCE

Be patient with your progress and avoid burnout. If your hands start feeling sore, take a break for a few days before continuing.

Don't set unrealistic goals like jumping from 50 WPM to 100 WPM immediately. Instead, aim for smaller targets, such as improving from 50 to 60 WPM, then 60 to 70 WPM, and so on. Eventually, you will reach your desired speed.

GitHub is an online software development and code hosting platform, a web-based version control and collaboration platform for software developers. It’s used for storing, tracking, and collaborating on software projects.

GitHub follows a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model and was launched in 2008. It was built on Git, an open-source code management system created by Linus Torvalds to facilitate faster software development. In 2018, Microsoft, the biggest single contributor to GitHub, acquired the platform for $7.5 billion.

Why Was GitHub Created?

Here’s why: Assume you are participating in a hackathon or a group project where your teammates are from different countries. In that case, you need a way to collaborate on the project you’re working on, such as tracking changes in code, the features you’re building, and more.

The main problem is how you and your collaborators/contributors will work on the project.

So what’s the solution?

GitHub! It’s a platform with functionalities that every developer needs to maintain their code and collaborate. It maintains everything as a central database, also known as a ‘Single Source of Truth’.

What Is Version Control?

Version control helps developers track and manage changes to software code in a collaborative environment. Two major concepts are branching and merging, which you’ll learn about in a further series on GitHub.

What Is Git?

Git is an open-source version control software used for managing and tracking file revisions. Git is used to manage projects on your local system. Git is the most widely used version control system in software development, and GitHub provides services that complement this technology, hence the name “GitHub”.

Now you’ve grasped the basic overview of GitHub. You’ll learn more about working practically and setting up Git and GitHub in my upcoming blogs.

HTML & CSS 🧑‍🎨 : These languages were my foundation to develop and get the proper understanding of Web Development.
JavaScript 💻 : How can one be a Front-end developer without JavaScript, right? From handling user interactions to manipulating the DOM, JavaScript is the engine that powers the modern web.
React JS ⚛️ : And of course, React! This library has completely changed my perspective on the way I approach building user interfaces. Its component-based architecture and declarative nature have made my code more organized and maintainable.
Tailwind CSS 🍃 : Embracing utility-first CSS with Tailwind has been a game-changer for me. Its simplicity and flexibility have enabled me to style my projects more efficiently. However, the essence of CSS is still is my favorite, but Tailwind is also my another super power.
Framer Motion 🏍️ : Animation adds life to any user interface, and Framer Motion has become my go-to library for creating delightful motion designs. Its intuitive API and seamless integration with React make it a joy to work with.

While I'm deeply passionate about web development, my interests extend beyond writing lines of code. I'm also fascinated by productivity hacks, discovering new tools and resources, and honing my skills in technical writing.
