      <title>Mouth cancers histopathological subtypes in colaboration with risk factors: a 5-year retrospective examine.</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;γ- and δ-alumina are popular catalyst support materials. Using a hydrothermal synthesis method starting from aluminum nitrate and urea in diluted solution, spherical core-shell particles with a uniform particle size of about 1 μm were synthesized. Upon calcination at 1000 °C, the particles adopted a core-shell structure with a γ-alumina core and δ-alumina shell as evidenced by 2D and 3D electron microscopy and 27Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The spherical alumina particles were loaded with Pt nanoparticles with an average size below 1 nm using the strong electrostatic adsorption method. Electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy revealed a homogeneous platinum dispersion over the alumina surface. These platinum loaded alumina spheres were used as a model catalyst for bifunctional catalysis. Physical mixtures of Pt/alumina spheres and spherical zeolite particles are equivalent to catalysts with platinum deposited on the zeolite itself facilitating the investigation of the catalyst components individually. The spherical alumina particles are very convenient supports for obtaining a homogeneous distribution of highly dispersed platinum nanoparticles. Obtaining such a small Pt particle size is challenging on other support materials such as zeolites. The here reported and well-characterized Pt/alumina spheres can be combined with any zeolite and used as a bifunctional model catalyst. This is an interesting strategy for the examination of the acid catalytic function without the interference of the supported platinum metal on the investigated acid material.A carrier-selective passivating contact is one of the main factors for the preparation of high-efficiency solar cells. In this work, a one-dimensional nanostructured CdS material combined with quasi-metallic TiN exhibits excellent contact performance with n-Si. In addition, the introduction of the CdS nanowire interlayer is more conducive to the extraction and transmission of electrons, which is attributed to a more suitable energy level alignment between the rear contact and the n-Si absorption layer. As a result, the power conversion efficiency of organic/Si solar cells based on the CdS NW/TiN/Al electron selective passivating contact exceeds 14.0%. This shows a promising technique to achieve high-performance and low-cost photovoltaic devices.Polysaccharides can be used as a potential hepatoprotective agent in the treatment of acute liver injury. However, the underlying mechanism governing how polysaccharides protect against acute liver injury induced by lipopolysaccharide/d-galactosamine (LPS/d-GalN) remains unclear. To investigate the mechanism, the anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory action and pathways were determined. In this study, we investigated the hepatoprotective effects of Grifola frondosa polysaccharides (GFP), which are obtained from the fruiting body of Grifola frondosa, on (LPS/d-GalN)-induced liver injury in mice. Histopathological analyses showed that GFP protected against LPS/d-GalN-induced lung inflammation. The activities of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and the levels of the inflammatory mediators tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-2, IL-6, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) were inhibited by GFP. The LPS/d-GalN-induced myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were inhibited by GFP. The levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) were upregulated by GFP. The GFP-treated group showed reduced expression levels of miR-122 in liver tissue. Nrf2 has been identified as a potential target of miR-122. The western blotting results showed that GFP attenuates LPS/d-GalN-induced acute liver injury via upregulating transcription factors Nrf2, Nqo-1, and HO-1 and downregulating transcription factor Keap-1 in the Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway. In conclusion, these results indicated that GFP was highly effective in inhibiting liver injury and may be a promising potential therapeutic reagent for liver injury treatment. GFP exerts protective effects against LPS/d-GalN-induced liver injury in mice, which may be related to the regulation of the miR-122-Nrf2/ARE pathways.The indium oxides, c-In2O3, h-In2O3, InOOH and In(OH)3, constitute an important class of wide band gap semiconductors. Synthesis of any indium oxide phase involves manoeuvring in a complex matrix of process parameters, and some phases are only obtained through controlled phase transformations. Considering the widespread use of indium oxide semiconductors it is restrictive that no coherent picture exists of the formation mechanisms of individual phases and phase transformations between them. Here we access the indium oxide system through solvothermal synthesis and/or powder calcinations, and we use in situ X-ray scattering in combination with thermal analysis to investigate the complex phase relations. This allows us to unravel synthesis pathways for the different indium oxide phases, and the insight is used to develop procedures for scalable continuous flow solvothermal synthesis. Direct formation of crystalline nanomaterials from precursor solutions was observed for In(OH)3, InOOH and cubic c-In2O3, while formation of hexagonal h-In2O3 requires thermal decomposition of InOOH. The in situ X-ray scattering data reveal new phase transformations from In(OH)3 to InOOH, and from InOOH to c-In2O3. Interestingly, solvothermal synthesis conditions facilitate different reactions mechanisms than dry powder calcinations, and both In(OH)3 and InOOH have different transformations under dry and wet conditions.We apply our recently developed semiclassical method for calculating tunnelling splittings (TS) in asymmetric systems to make the first characterization of the ground-state TS pattern of some partially deuterated water trimers. Similarly to homoisotopic water trimers, the ground-state TS patterns are explained in terms of six distinct rearrangement mechanisms. TS patterns in (D2O)(H2O)2 and (H2O)(D2O)2 are composed of sextets induced by the dynamics of flips, and each of its levels is further finely split into a quartet of doublets and a doublet of quartets, respectively, due to various bifurcation dynamics. At the same time, humanitarian settings can increase the vulnerability of women and girls to unintended pregnancies and unsafe abortions. Humanitarian actors and health care providers can play important roles in ensuring the availability and accessibility of abortion-related care. This study explores health care providers' perceptions and experiences of providing comprehensive abortion care in a humanitarian setting in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh and identifies barriers and facilitators in service provision. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In-depth interviews (n = 24) were conducted with health care providers (n = 19) providing comprehensive abortion care to Rohingya refugee women and with key informants (n = 5), who were employed by an organisation involved in the humanitarian response. Data were analysed using an inductive content analysis approach. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The national menstrual regulation policy provided a favourable legal environment and facilitated theledge of abortion laws and policies, health care providers' personal beliefs and a lack of cultural safety. To ensure the accessibility and availability of quality services, a comprehensive approach to sexual and reproductive health and rights is needed. Organisations must ensure that health care providers have knowledge of abortion policies and the ability to provide quality care that is woman-centred and non-judgmental. &lt;br&gt;

 In China, more than 20 million patients with chronic hepatitis B need antiviral treatment. Side effects of antiviral treatment such as renal complications can be problematic, particularly in an aging population. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The data were retrospectively extracted from the hospital medical charts of five centers in eastern China from January 1 to December 31, 2018. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A total of 8309 patients with CHB was enrolled in this study. The median age of the patients was 46years. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and hepatic cirrhosis was respectively 3.49%, 4.42%, and 23.72%. The prevalence of these comorbidities increased with age (P &amp;lt; 0.001). Of the patients with CHB, 5332 had complete renal function results. Among them, patients with an estimated glomerular filtration rate of &amp;lt; 60mL/min/1.73m &lt;br&gt;
 accounted for 4.14%, and those with proteinuria for 8.33%. According to the definition of chronic kidney disease, the proportion of patients with chronic kidney disease was 11.37%.  Colorectal anastomosis using the double stapling technique (DST) has become a standard procedure. However, DST is difficult to perform in patients with anal stenosis because a circular stapler cannot be inserted into the rectum through the anus. Thus, an alternative procedure is required for colorectal anastomosis. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A 78-year-old woman presented with bloody stool. Colonoscopy and computed tomography revealed advanced low rectal cancer without lymph node or distant metastasis. We initially planned to perform low anterior resection using a double stapling technique or transanal hand-sewn anastomosis, but this would have been too difficult due to anal stenosis and fibrosis caused by a Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy performed 20 years earlier. The patient had never experienced defecation problems and declined a stoma. Therefore, we inserted an anvil into the rectal stump and fixed it robotically with a purse-string suture followed by insertion of the shaft of the circular stapler from the sigmoidal side. In this way, side-to-end anastomosis was accomplished laparoscopically. The distance from the anus to the anastomosis was 5 cm. The patient was discharged with no anastomotic leakage. Robotic assistance proved extremely useful for low anterior resection with side-to-end anastomosis. &lt;/p&gt;

Several classes of pharmacological agents have been used to manage PCOS. These drugs have shown adverse effects. Various studies showed the bee pollen (BP) as a substance rich in phytoestrogens. This study aimed to investigate the effects of BP and metformin alone and in combination with proliferation and apoptosis of granulosa cells in the rat model of PCOS. In this experimental study, 54 Wistar rats (180-210 g), was injected 2 mg of estradiol valerate intramuscularly and six rats were considered as control. After 60 days, the rats were divided into control, sham, and experimental groups. The rats were treated with bee pollen (50, 100, and 200 mg/kg) and metformin (300 mg/kg), either individually or in combination. Ovarian histology assessment was examined by H&amp;amp;E staining. The serum levels of NO and TNF-α were evaluated. The expressions of P53 and Ki67 were measured by IHC. In the BP and metformin-treated PCOS group, the preantral and antral follicles increased, and cystic follicles significantly decreased (p less then .01). The levels of TNF-α, NO, as well as the expressions of Ki67 were decreased in the treated groups compared to the PCOS group (p less then .01). On the contrary, apoptosis increased in the groups treated with BP compared to the untreated group (p less then .01). BP individually or synergistically with metformin improved the symptoms of PCOS.Similar to the brain, the eye is considered an immune-privileged organ where tissue-resident macrophages provide the major immune cell constituents. However, little is known about spatially restricted macrophage subsets within different eye compartments with regard to their origin, function, and fate during health and disease. Here, we combined single-cell analysis, fate mapping, parabiosis, and computational modeling to comprehensively examine myeloid subsets in distinct parts of the eye during homeostasis. This approach allowed us to identify myeloid subsets displaying diverse transcriptional states. During choroidal neovascularization, a typical hallmark of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD), we recognized disease-specific macrophage subpopulations with distinct molecular signatures. Our results highlight the heterogeneity of myeloid subsets and their dynamics in the eye that provide new insights into the innate immune system in this organ which may offer new therapeutic targets for ophthalmological diseases. &lt;br&gt;
 The genus Blastobotrys consists of at least 20 species. Disease in humans has been reported with Badeninivorans, Braffinosifermentans, Bproliferans and Bserpentis, mostly in immunocompromised patients and those with cystic fibrosis. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We report a lung infection secondary to Braffinosifermentans in a cystic fibrosis patient successfully treated with isavuconazole and review the literature of invasive infections caused this genus. We also evaluated clinical isolates in our laboratory for species identification and antifungal susceptibility. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Phylogenetic analysis was performed on a collection of 22 Blastobotrys isolates in our reference laboratory, and antifungal susceptibility patterns were determined for nine clinically available antifungals against 19 of these isolates. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;By phylogenetic analysis, 21 of the 22 isolates in our collection were identified as Braffinosifermentans and only 1 as Badeninivorans. Most were cultured from the respiratory tract, although others were recovered from other sources, inc with isavuconazole.Attacks on plants by both viruses and their vectors is common in nature. Yet the dynamics of the plant-virus-vector tripartite system, in particular the effects of viral infection on plant-insect interactions, have only begun to emerge in the last decade. Viruses can modulate the interactions between insect vectors and plants via the jasmonate, salicylic acid and ethylene phytohormone pathways, resulting in changes in fitness and viral transmission capacity of their insect vectors. Virus infection of plants may also modulate other phytohormones, such as auxin, gibberellins, cytokinins, brassinosteroids and abscisic acid, with yet undefined consequences on plant-insect interactions. Moreover, virus infection in plants may incur changes to other plant traits, such as nutrition and secondary metabolites, that potentially contribute to virus-associated, phytohormone-mediated manipulation of plant-insect interactions. In this article, we review the research progress, discuss issues related to the complexity and variability of the viral modulation of plant interactions with insect vectors, and suggest future directions of research in this field. &lt;br&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Four hundred eleven subsolid nodules (SSNs) (120 preinvasive lesions or MIAs and 291 IPAs) in 333 patients who underwent surgery between June 2010 and August 2016 were retrospectively included to develop the model (370 SSNs in 293 patients for training and 41 SSNs in 40 patients for tuning). Ninety SSNs of 2cm or smaller (45 preinvasive lesions or MIAs and 45 IPAs) resected in 2018 formed a validation set. Six radiologists measured the solid portion of each nodule. Corticosteroids, bisphosphonates, and losartan have been reported to be effective systemic medications used to reduce CED symptoms. There are no reports of osteoblastoma in patients with CED, and osteoblastoma in the distal radius is rare. We present a patient diagnosed with CED, based on radiological and histological examinations, at 11 years old. At 22 years old, she experienced severe pain in her right forearm and was treated with bisphosphonate, losartan, and prednisolone; however, the pain continued. An expansive and sclerotic lesion at the distal radius was observed on radiography. A follow-up plain radiograph indicated that the lesion was growing. Fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography revealed solitary, intense radiotracer uptake, and a biopsy and surgical resection were performed due to suspected malignancy. For the 6 children with NVM (4 boys and 2 girls), the age of onset ranged from 3 months to 12 years. Of the 6 children, 5 had arrhythmia, 3 had cardiac insufficiency, 1 had poor mental state, and 1 had chest distress and sighing. NVM-related gene mutations were detected in 4 children, among whom 2 had MYH7 gene mutation, 1 had PRDM16 gene mutation, and 1 had mutations in the ACTN2 and TNNT2 genes. Four children had improvement in cardiac function. The two children with no significant improvement in cardiac function had a younger age of onset, a greater reduction in systolic function on echocardiography, and greater increases in myocardial enzyme and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide. It is concluded that for children with the initial symptoms of chest distress, sighing, arrhythmia, enlarged heart shadow, and increased myocardial enzyme, echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance are recommended for the diagnosis of NVM.
