SetOps Lands #5 On Product Hunt 😻

In the cut-throat competition of Product Hunt, SetOps secured #5 product of the day. 🚀

If you are interested in new and emerging tech products, you probably know Product Hunt. If you are new, it's where the latest and greatest tech products worldwide battle to be the top Product of the day. This must be enough to give you an idea of the competition.

SetOps has been in the making for two years, and with the release of Version 1.0 bringing production readiness that we have been aiming for. It was time to bring SetOps to the masses. This was the motivation behind our decision to launch on Product Hunt.

We made the decision three weeks before the launch date. The engineering team dedicated itself to bringing the finishing touches to the UI while the relations team worked to give SetOps the best chance to stand the competition. With that preparation, we launched SetOps on 7 June & our efforts paid off.‍

We are thankful to our community, who gave us the initial pace to ensure we get to the main page. The biggest challenge on the day was the neck-to-neck race for the top positions. We are happy to have won the 5th spot in the last few hours.

Some perks of the day were increased traffic on our website, signups from many early adopters, making it to the front page of Hacker News (which started a valuable discussion) and great comments on SetOps. Here are some that have become our favourites:

AWS makes our life easier in many ways. But, as it often happens, in an attempt to address all possible needs, it ended up with just too many features to keep an eye on.
