I’m sharing this as [an organizer / an affiliate of the organizing group].
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM, community members plan to gather at the Lincoln Memorial for a peaceful and lawful walk toward the Victims of Communism Museum in Washington, D.C.

The action calls for greater transparency and public oversight of reported public spending, including the reported $40 million grant connected to the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and expenses related to the proposed 2026 “China Forum.”

We are calling for:

Full public disclosure of the relevant funding and spending decisions;
Independent auditing and oversight of public funds;
Clear explanations of how these expenditures serve taxpayers;
Budget priorities that better support local communities and essential public services.
This event is about accountability for specific public spending decisions—not hostility toward Chinese, Asian American, or any other communities.

Please bring a respectful sign and join us in peaceful, lawful civic participation. Event route and logistics are subject to applicable permits and guidance.

Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Meeting point: Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C.
