I built this for myself. I do mobile work, and Charles kept eating memory and slowing down, so I wrote my own proxy and it grew from there. The engine is Kotlin/Native and the app is SwiftUI.

What I use most: each request shows which app sent it, including Android over adb and the iOS Simulator, so I'm not digging through a flat list of hosts. It decodes HTTP/2, gRPC and Protobuf, and there's an MCP server so an agent can search and replay captured traffic.

It's Apple silicon only for now and free for personal use. What I want most is to hear where it feels awkward. If you send a bug report or a request, I'll give you a free Pro license: wireway.dev/shape-it
