This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - Comfort Food Edition, Perfect Landing

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - Comfort Food Edition, Perfect Landing

 What I Built

For this challenge, I created a cozy landing page centered around a warm bowl of noodles. I wanted the page to give the feeling of comfort and warmth as soon as someone opens it.

The design uses a warm color palette, large typography, food-focused visuals, and a simple layout to keep the landing page clean and inviting.

The main idea was to make the noodles feel like more than just food — something familiar that makes you feel at home.

The landing page includes a hero section, a short introduction to the comfort food, visual elements inspired by a noodle bowl, and clear call-to-action elements.

 Demo

🌐 Live Demo: file:///C:/Users/vaishnavi/Downloads/preview.html#menu

 Journey

I started by thinking about what makes a landing page feel welcoming and connected to the idea of comfort food. I chose warm colors and rounded elements to create a cozy atmosphere.

While building the page, I focused on responsive layouts, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy so that the main message is easy to understand.

One of the things I enjoyed most was turning a simple food idea into a complete landing-page experience instead of only creating an illustration.

I also learned more about making a design responsive and balancing decorative elements with useful content.

If I continue improving the project, I'd like to add more interactions, subtle animations, and possibly a menu section with different comfort-food options.

Thanks to the DEV team for organizing this challenge! ❤️

🍜 Comfort Food CSS Art — A Warm Bowl of Noodles Made with HTML & CSS

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - Comfort Food Edition, CSS Art.

This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - Comfort Food Edition, CSS Art.

 Inspiration

For this challenge, I decided to create a CSS art version of a warm bowl of noodles. Noodles are one of my favorite comfort foods because they are simple, warm, and something I can easily enjoy anytime.

I wanted to recreate that cozy feeling using only HTML and CSS, without depending on images or external graphics.

 Demo

🌐 Live Demo: file:///c%3A/Users/vaishnavi/Downloads/index.html

The artwork is created using HTML and CSS. I used CSS shapes, gradients, shadows, borders, and positioning to build the bowl and its different food elements.

 Journey

The main goal of this project was to see how much I could create using just CSS.

I started by breaking the food into smaller parts and thinking about how each part could be represented using basic CSS shapes. I used properties like
border-radius
, gradients, shadows, and pseudo-elements to create the different details.

One of the challenging parts was making the shapes look natural while keeping everything completely CSS-based. I also learned more about positioning and layering elements to create depth.

I'm happy with how the final artwork turned out, especially considering that it was created without using an image.

If I continue improving the project, I'd like to add some animations and interactive effects to make the CSS art feel more lively.

Thanks to the DEV team for organizing this challenge! ❤️
