Shipping a project is exciting — but before releasing it, there are always a few things that can be easy to miss.

Is the configuration correct?
Are there risky permissions?
Is the Android project properly configured?
Are important documentation files missing?
Are there release-related issues hiding inside the repository?

That's why I built ReleaseReady. 🔍

🚀 What is ReleaseReady?

ReleaseReady is a GitHub repository release-readiness scanner designed to help developers identify potential problems before shipping their projects.

The idea is simple:

GitHub Repository → Scan → Findings → Fix → Release with Confidence

🔎 What does it check?

ReleaseReady can inspect a repository for different release-related areas, including:

🔐 Security & configuration checks
📱 Android project configuration
📦 Dependencies
⚙️ GitHub Actions
📄 README and documentation
🔑 Potential secret/configuration issues
🛡️ Manifest and permission-related settings
🚀 Release-readiness indicators

Findings are organized into:

PASS • WARNING • FAIL • INFO

This makes it easier to understand what is already ready and what may need attention.

📊 Readiness Score

ReleaseReady also provides a readiness score based on the checks performed.

The goal isn't simply to chase a 100% score.

Instead, the score is meant to give developers a quick overview of areas that may deserve attention before release.

🔗 GitHub Integration

You can connect your GitHub account and select a repository for scanning.

The scanner is designed around read-only repository analysis — the goal is to inspect your project, not modify your source code.

💡 Why I built it

As an independent developer, I know how easy it is to focus on building features while overlooking small release details.

I wanted a simple tool that could answer one question:

"Is my repository ready for release?"

ReleaseReady is my attempt to make that process faster and easier.
