ScienceQuizPro Hub is an educational science quiz project designed to help students learn science through interactive multiple-choice questions.

The project already existed before the submission period. During development, I improved the project structure, refined the quiz experience, organized the question bank, improved scoring and review functionality, added timer-based gameplay, strengthened the Android release configuration, and improved the overall user interface and documentation.

I also worked on making the project more reliable for real-world use and prepared it for app-store submission and testing.

I Built ReleaseReady: A Simple Tool to Check Your Project Before Release 🚀

Before releasing a project, there are many small things developers need to check — security, build configuration, documentation, dependencies, GitHub configuration, and more.

So I built ReleaseReady, a developer-focused tool that scans a repository and provides a quick release-readiness report.

🔍 What does ReleaseReady check?

The current version checks several important areas, including:

🔐 Security configuration
📦 Dependency lockfiles
🛠️ Build configuration
📝 README documentation
🔒 Environment files and secrets
⚙️ GitHub Actions configuration
📄 Privacy Policy & Terms references
📜 Repository license
📋 Changelog
🧩 Project configuration

The goal is simple:

Find potential release issues before they become release problems.

📊 My latest scan

I tested ReleaseReady against its own repository.

The result:

Readiness Score: 98%

✅ 8 Passed
⚠️ 2 Warnings
❌ 0 Failures
ℹ️ 1 Info
🚫 0 Blockers

The scan analyzed 45 files.

⚠️ Current warnings

The tool identified two non-blocking issues:

No GitHub Actions workflow was configured.
No repository LICENSE file was detected.

These aren't necessarily blockers for every project, but ReleaseReady highlights them so developers can make an informed decision before publishing.

🔐 Security checks

ReleaseReady also checks for common configuration problems.

For example, the latest scan confirmed:

No committed .env or private key files detected.
No obvious hardcoded secrets detected in the sampled source files.
.gitignore properly excludes environment configuration files.

🎯 Why I built it

Sometimes a project works perfectly on your local machine, but there are still important things to check before sharing or releasing it.

I wanted a simple dashboard where developers could quickly answer:

"Is my repository ready for release?"

ReleaseReady is my attempt to make that process faster and easier.

I plan to continue improving the scanner with more checks, better recommendations, and additional release-readiness rules.

Is the configuration correct?
Are there risky permissions?
Is the Android project properly configured?

ReleaseReady is a GitHub repository release-readiness scanner designed to help developers identify potential problems before shipping their projects.

The idea is simple:

GitHub Repository → Scan → Findings → Fix → Release with Confidence

🔎 What does it check?

ReleaseReady can inspect a repository for different release-related areas, including:

🔐 Security & configuration checks
📱 Android project configuration
📦 Dependencies
⚙️ GitHub Actions
📄 README and documentation
🔑 Potential secret/configuration issues
🛡️ Manifest and permission-related settings
🚀 Release-readiness indicators

Findings are organized into:

PASS • WARNING • FAIL • INFO

This makes it easier to understand what is already ready and what may need attention.

📊 Readiness Score

ReleaseReady also provides a readiness score based on the checks performed.

The goal isn't simply to chase a 100% score.

Instead, the score is meant to give developers a quick overview of areas that may deserve attention before release.

🔗 GitHub Integration

You can connect your GitHub account and select a repository for scanning.

The scanner is designed around read-only repository analysis — the goal is to inspect your project, not modify your source code.

💡 Why I built it

As an independent developer, I know how easy it is to focus on building features while overlooking small release details.

I wanted a simple tool that could answer one question:

"Is my repository ready for release?"

ReleaseReady is my attempt to make that process faster and easier.
