🚀 My journey as a MERN stack developer — 1+ years of building real-world applications

Hi everyone! I'm a MERN stack developer with over a year of experience, primarily focused on backend development and building scalable web applications.

Over the past year, I've moved beyond tutorials and into real-world projects — solving practical problems, debugging production issues, and continuously improving how I write and structure code.

💻 What I've worked on

Built RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express

Designed and managed MongoDB databases

Implemented authentication and authorization using JWT

Shipped production-level applications with real business logic

⚡ Key lessons from real work

Clean, maintainable code matters far more than just making things work

Debugging is a skill — it improves with patience and experience

Good API design prevents a lot of future headaches

Real-world development is a completely different game from tutorials

🔧 Challenges that shaped me

Handling edge cases in APIs that tutorials never mention

Fixing performance bottlenecks in database queries

Structuring backend code that can actually scale

Debugging unexpected bugs in production

📈 What I'm focused on now

Building scalable backend architectures

Writing efficient, optimized APIs

Contributing to open source

Consistently improving my development practices

I'm starting to share my journey here to document real-world learnings, share practical insights, and connect with other developers. If you're working with MERN or backend development — let's connect and grow together. 🚀
