      <description>&lt;p&gt;Hi, I'm thinking about replacing a CloudWatch - ES + Kibana stack with X-Ray.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;X-Ray has a retention period of 30 days. Apart from business-related stuff, would you say that's long enough time to store logs? &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Got any stories when log archaeology saved you?&lt;/p&gt;
