Hi everyone 👋
I’m an independent developer from India, and I’m currently building Astra Client — a Minecraft launcher designed to be fast, lightweight, and community-focused.

This post isn’t a tutorial or a launch announcement.
It’s simply me sharing why I started this project and what I’m learning along the way.

💡 Why I Started Astra Client

Most popular Minecraft launchers are built outside India.
They work well, but I always felt there was space for something:

simpler,

performance-focused,

and built by someone who actually plays Minecraft daily.

Astra Client started as a small side project to learn more about product development, desktop apps, and distribution. Over time, it became something I wanted to take seriously.

🛠️ What Astra Client Focuses On

Right now, Astra Client is built around a few clear goals:

⚡ Fast startup and low resource usage

🧩 Clean and simple launcher UI

🔒 Safe and transparent downloads

🔄 Support for multiple Minecraft versions

📈 Continuous improvements based on feedback

Instead of trying to compete with everything at once, I’m focusing on getting the basics right first.

 🇮🇳 Building From India

One thing I’m proud of is building this project from India.
Not as a limitation, but as motivation.

There are plenty of talented developers here, and I believe more tools and products can come from this ecosystem. Astra Client is my small step in that direction.

📚 What I’m Learning So Far

Working on Astra Client has taught me a lot, including:

How important user trust is (security, certificates, transparency)

Why simplicity beats feature overload

The value of building in public and getting early feedback

That shipping something usable matters more than perfection

 🤝 What’s Next

Astra Client is still evolving.
I’m actively looking for:

Feedback

Bug reports

Feature suggestions

Early users who want to test and share thoughts

If you enjoy building products or learning in public, I’d love to connect.

Thanks for reading!
I’ll keep sharing updates and lessons as Astra Client grows 🚀
